Here it is! Everyone's dream muscle car! A 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, GM's finest production muscle car! This is a TRULY amazing car and even more amazing when your behind the wheel! This car turn heads and gets thumbs up everwhere I go. From the growl of the engine, to the clean body lines, this car catches your eye as it drives past you. This girl was born in Lordstown, Ohio and then made her way to the west coast to Eugene, Oregon in the late 1980's. It was from there where I picked it up and brought it to Boise, Idaho. The previous owner had owned the car for over 20 years and was sitting in a shop for the last 5 years cover in dust. The previous owner told me that his intentions with the car were to turn it into a full cloned SS, but later lost passion for the car and decided to spend his money on other things. And it was then he decided to just sell the car because it was just sitting. I then made a trip to Eugene, Oregon and trailered the car home and started cleaning it up and this is where the car is today....... This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Clone is equipped with a freshly built small block 350 with 1500 miles on it and pushes about 375HP. It's equipped with a heavy cam, holly 750 Double Pumper covered by a K&N air filter, accel distributer and cap with new plug wires, chrome valve covers, chrome oil pan, custom headers with 3" exhaust on 44 Series Flowmasters, new aluminum flex fan, New Howe racing aluminum radiator new alternator, new power steering pump (requires no effort to turn the wheel!), all new powder coated control arms with new ball joints and bushings, all new Hotchiks Suspension all the way around the car. The car could use new rear bushings. The transmission is a built Turbo 400 with a shift kit (I love that second gear, breaks the tires loose)! The Interior is in GREAT Shape and is almost all original! The dash, carpet, seats and headliner are all original but the door panels, and steering wheel were replaced the the ss badged parts in the 90's. The rear package tray is new and has brand new pioneer 6x9 speakers in the back with it. The stereo head unit is also brand new and is iPhone/iPod ready and has all kinds of cool features. I put brand new white face guages that moniter the volt/meter, oil pressure and water temperature. The over all conditon of the interior is pretty good but please make no mistake its not perfect, its over 40 years old and is showing wear is some spots. The Carpet could use some attention and the headliner has a few small tears in the back. The doors panels are also showing some wear. I must emphasize that this car is not a show car. I say this because in a previous auction, a buyer was expecting a perfect conditioned car. Please understand that this car is great shape, but again, it is not perfect. If you are a profession, it will not be hard to spot the imperfections, but if you're not, please read this posting carefully and watch the videos and review the pictures. The exterior is in tuxedo black with white rally stripes. This paint really shines and is in pretty good shape for a 20 year old paint job. It is cracking in some spots and as shown in the pictures and there are some rust spots showing through on the bottom of some of the panels. The trunk lid is also showing some rust, but other than that, it's in great shape!!! Just driving down the road people think it has a fresh paint job. The previous owner painted the car over 20 years ago and shortly after, stored it for years. I think that is when the rust developed. The windshield is brand new and all the other glass is original and in great shape! The wheels are aluminum weld racing 15's and the rears are 15 with an offset, wrapped in BF Goodrich's Radial TA's. All lights are in perfect working condition and all locks work as well. Everything works as it should! This car is a blast!!! It runs amazing, sounds amazing,looks amazing and runs SOOO Strong! It would not take much to make this car a perfect true SS Clone! I have enjoyed this car so much but now it's time to move on to something else!
