Vehicle Detail

6 speed (manual) with 196k miles on the body and approximately 95k miles on the used LS1 motor (no exhaust smoke and good compression), which I swapped in last spring. At that time, I installed the following: CompCams double roller timing chain, pushrods and lifters; rebuilt (Thompson Motorsports) LS6 heads (243 cast/64cc chambers-NOT ported); a GM cam with 2002 Z06 Vette specs 204 int/218 exh (purchased new from Summit Racing); a BBK hi flow intake manifold (used); 26 lb. fuel injectors (used); Pacesetter long tube headers (painted and purchased used); and an SCT dyno tune (handheld tuner included in sale of car) by EB3 Motorsports-Gainesville, Virginia. Dyno tune by EB3 in April 2013 revealed over 350 hp at the rear wheels or over 400 hp at the flywheel. Other changes under the hood include a Granatelli MAF; an SLP cold air kit; and a 160 degree thermostat. Other mods to the car include a Texas speed dual catted 3 inch Y pipe (purchased new); SLP Loudmouth II aftercat exhaust (purchased new in 2011); C5 front rotors (drilled and slotted); C6 wheels (purchased used) 18 inch front & 19 inch rear; and 4:10 GM gears (used). The car passed Virginia emissions in January 2012 and was Virginia state safety inspected in February 2013. No "check engine" or "service engine soon" lights are lit. Aftermarket springs (purchased used) were installed lowering car about 1 to 1.5 inches but with the aftermarket catted Y pipe this car WILL NOT make it over the average speed bump. I have the OEM springs that are included in the sale of the car, which was repainted in spring 2011 shortly after I bought it. Power windows work fine (passenger side window motor was replaced by me in 2011). Stock and original T56 transmission with stock Hurst short throw shifter works fine. LUK clutch was in a normal state of wear when I swapped the motor and works fine. Interior is in great shape with no rips or tears, save for a 4 inch tear along a seam on the driver's seat, but it was sewed up nicely by my wife. Power locks, doors latches and rear hatch all operate fine, including window wipers and window washer sprayer. A/C blows cold, and the heater works. I replaced the A/C belt tensioner and serpentine belt tensioner pulley last winter, in addition to the alternator. Two remotes and a set of extra keys are included. Car has a the stock Monsoon stereo with single CD player and it works as it should. I replaced the 2 oval speakers at the rear in 2012. This car has never seen the track and has been used on the street only, in search of the unsuspecting newer Mustang or older Corvette. The essentially LS6 clone motor makes plenty of power but still has street manners and hooks up well with the big Vette tires. I hate to sell the car given the obvious investment made in it, but I have one kid in college and another one starting next fall and so, unfortunately, she has to go.
