1968 Dodge Charger with numbers matching 383 motor and numbers matching 727 Torqueflight automatic transmission. Vehicle mileage is 68k and is believed to be original miles. Original build sheet included in sale (see photo). Overall condition is very good. The car is not a show car, but is a well-above average driver quality vehicle. The deep blue paint and shiny chrome gets looks everywhere I take it. The exterior has been professionally buffed and detailed in September 2013 and really looks great. The bumpers are excellent front and back. Rear bumper is new. The chrome trim pieces are very good overall, with a few small dents and swirls in various pieces. Glass is in great condition, with a few swirls in side rear windows. All windows roll up and down easily. The interior is in very good condition also. Seating surfaces are in excellent shape, and front seats have been re-upholstered to match factory seat pattern. Dash is in good condition overall (see photos) with some usual wear on dash, knobs, etc. There was a black dash pad installed prior to my purchase of the car. Factory tic-toc-tach still works!! All gauges work as expected with the exception of temp gauge which was working well a month ago but now is not. Original AM radio is in car but is non-functioning. All lights work, including dome light, turn signals, hidden headlights (both low and hi beams), side markers, etc. Brand new turn signal lights in hood look great. Mechanically, the car is in great shape. Motor is strong and starts easily and runs great. Original Carter 4bbl carb has been rebuilt and works perfectly. Original air cleaner cover with original wing nut present. Brakes are excellent with new front disc brakes installed this year. Shifting is smooth. Acceleration is wonderful. Dual exhaust is brand new and has a deep throaty rumble to it. The car drives great and is a lot of fun out on the road. A/C is present but does not work. I have had a professional restoration shop go through the car this year, and the following work/modifications have been performed in 2013: Front disc brake conversion kit New ball joints and front end bushings New rear brakes New brake lines and hoses throughout New fuel lines New dual exhaust New headliner New hood turn signals Rebuilt master cylinder New starter Trans fluid and filter change New battery cables Overall, the Charger looks great, runs great, and sounds great.
