Up for sale is a vintage 1974 Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser. This vehicle is a prime candidate for a quality restoration project. This FJ has not been messed with. I bought this from the original owner in hopes of restoring this for my son. He wants a pickup to drive when he turns 16, so this now becomes an opportunity for someone else to get an original FJ40. This FJ was parked 10 years ago. At that time, the vehicle was running. I haven't taken the time to see if it will start now. The odometer shows 20,058. I was told they thought it had turned over once. It will need a new clutch installed. The FJ has rust in the normal areas, but all these areas can be fixed or replaced. The tub and floors appear to be in good shape. The doors look good and the windows go down and up as they should. The top would need a new qutter installed. The dash is in fantastic shape and includes everything, even the original radio. The seats are in rough shaped, but they are there. It has both rear jump seats that are in decent shape, but they would need a little work as well. It is missing the latch on the rear flip up door and the side mirrors. It does include the front grill bezel that goes around the headlights. It is loose and slightly damaged.All the glass is in great shape. The only flaw is a small rock chip in the windshield. This FJ even has the original 1 piece front floor liner. It is in great shape with only 1 small wear hole. The only thing that I can tell that is not original on this FJ is the wheels. It unfortunately, does not come with the original wheels. This FJ will take some work to get it back to its original condition, but all the pieces are there to get going. You are not getting a vehicle that has been cut up and hopped up. I have tried my best to explain everthing on this FJ to the best of my knowledge. This vehicle is for sale locally.
