Here is my beautiful 1972 factory 454ci big block corvette with 4 speed rock crusher transmission, last of the chrome bumper cars, t-tops, removable rear window, red with black interior, power steering, power windows, corvette rally's with good tires, upgraded 454ci V8 with lots of extras, chrome hooker headers with side pipes, HEI ignition, 770 cfm Street Avenger double pumper carburetor, 1969 Cowl induction hood, period correct Hearst shifter, huge cam, simply too many options and features to list. Beautiful car, excellent driver ready to go, head turner everywhere you go. The motor has started to run hot and there is water in the oil. I believe that the head gasket will need to be replaced, but I do not have the time to deal with it. The engine bursts to life at the twist of the ignition and rumbles stoutly at idle. The 4 speed Rock Crusher transmission shift cleanly and smoothly through the gears and the clutch is brand new with less than 200 miles. The exterior paint shines bright and looks wonderful, however, there is some minor bubbling on the rear deck lid and the hood as shown in the pictures. The interior is clean, the seats have been recovered and the carpet is in good condition. the drivers side inner door handle will need to be replaced. The gauges will need some minor attention as the needle on the speedometer has fallen off. The tachometer is in good working condition but is not currently hooked up. The brakes are a bit spongy from sitting and will need to be bled. The Corvette Rally wheels and tires are in good condition with about %50-%60 treadlife remaining. This is a factory Big Block car, however the engine is not numbers matching. The tranmission and rear end are numbers matching. Overall this car is in well above average condition and it shows. I have a clean and clear title in my name in hand. The car stays inside and covered. This Corvette has been in my family for the past 16 years and was handed down from my father who is a retired veteran. The mileage on the car currently shows 18k, but I believe that it has been around once. Feel free to ask any question 239-692-5270
