Hello and thank you for taking a look at my listing. I am selling a 2004 Chevrolet Aveo, which has been owned by my family since it was new. I am relisting this item as I had a local deal fall through when a purchaser could not come up with the full amount of funds agreed to. Also, I noticed a couple of things when I looked at the autocheck listing which may confuse a prospective purchaser (and a couple of folks asked about when originally listed). First, the autocheck shows three registered owners. This is correct. My grandmother purchased the car at Lukken Chevrolet in LaGrange, Georgia where she lived in 2004. She very rarely drove it. I know it is cliche...but it really was the little older lady who drove it to church's vehicle. She owned the car from new until (approx.) 2010. When it was transferred it had 6712 miles on it. It was put in the name of one of my parents for a very short time and stayed at their home in Roswell, GA for a couple of months. In August 2010 it was transferred to me here at my home in Tennessee. At that point the vehicle had 8744 miles on it. In the last three years the car has shuttled my children and I on our daily routine to work/school/daycare. The round trip is approximately 85 miles (my work is located approximately 40 miles away from my home out I-24 West in Alabama) . Throw in daily errands, trips, etc. and you can see how bulk of the the miles on the car have quickly accrued in the last three years. Second, the autocheck shows a blue information circle under "Emission/Safety inspection records". My county in Tennessee requires annual emissions inspections. In September 2012 I went to have the emissions inspected and a crack in the gas cap was discovered during the inspection. I had to drive down the street to an O'Reilly autoparts store and replace the gas cap. I then drove back to the emission station and the car passed without incident. The emissions on the car were recently done for this year as well and the car passed without incident once again. The car is in very nice shape and runs perfectly. Everything on the car works exactly as it should. Air is ice cold. This is very nice basic transportation and will make a fine daily driver for someone. It gets very good gas mileage and has an automatic transmission and gray cloth interior. The car has roll up windows, AM/FM radio with CD player, and rear defroster. I added a trailer hitch to the car so that I could have a bike rack on the car. The hitch has never been used for towing. Being a small 4 cylinder car, the gas mileage is very, very good (approximately 35 MPG - Hwy). I have the original owners manual for the car and clear title on hand. I have used the car as a daily driver since I acquired it 3 years ago. The car originally belonged to my grandmother, who decided that she no longer felt comfortable driving at her advanced age. I have 3 children (including 2 who are in booster seats) and am selling the car in order to purchase a larger vehicle. While the car is in very nice shape both mechanically and cosmetically, there are a few little dings and scratches, about what you would expect from a 2004 model. In an effort to be thorough I have added pictures of them to this listing. The car also has a small crack at the very base of the windshield by the driver's side. It does not impede the driver's view. The wheels have hub caps and have some scuffs and scrapes on them. I have included an image so that you may get an exact picture of what I am speaking about. I have also added a picture of the back seat without the child seats in them so you can get a good view of the back seat now!! :) The tires are in very, very good condition. I have included a picture of the remaining tread. I do not think a buyer will be at all disappointed with the purchase of this vehicle. I know that it can be quite difficult to find a car at this price level which you feel will be reliable.We had quite a bit of work done to it at 57K miles, including plugs, wires, hoses, air filter and timing belt replacement. I honestly can tell you that I would not be uncomfortable selling this car to a member of my family. It has always been a good car for us.
