I have discribe this car to the best of my knowledge. I did not restore it but who ever did spared nothing! On Oct-09-13 at 12:10:30 PDT, seller added the following information: IMPORTANT NOTE: (1939 PLYMOUTH P7 TOURING 4DR SEDAN ROADKING) According to this 39's Maine State registration form, the VIN number begins with P8 which led me to believe this was a P8 Sedan. But after thoroughly researching this matter, Im now aware that in some states back in the day, they used the engine serial number for the registration form VIN number since both P7's & P8's used the identical L Head 201ci 6 Cyl engines. I was also under the assumption that only the P8's had dual taillights's & dual wipers. I thank a fellow enthusist for bringing this matter to my attention. After verifying the passenger door pillar Serial number, my research confirms this 39' is indeed a Rare well optioned P7 Touring Sedan Roadking with dual taillights and dual wipers! This 39' P7 is an impressive collector for any enthusist. In fact, according to Jerry Heasley's Production Figure's, this 39 is a more desirable collector being a P7 considering their were substantially less P7 4DR Touring Sedan Roadkings produced then P8 Touring Sedan Deluxes. Only 23,047 of these P7's were produced "VS" 175,054 of the P8's. Sorry to all bidders for the confusion. Bid with confidence as this Rare 1939 Plymouth P7 Road King 4dr Touring Sedan is a sure investment.
