Up for auction is my Euro-Spec 1987 BMW 325i sedan. This vehicle is actually a 1988 model but was changed for importation purposes when brought to Canada from the UK in 2000. It is titled (in hand) as a 1987 here in the US. This Euro-Spec E30 is a base model with 15" BMW basket-weave magnesium wheels and an otherwise short list of factory options. . .M-Tech suspension, green tinted glass and non-catalysed exhaust system (yes that was a Euro factory option in 1988). Look the up VIN WBAAD110002352879 and you can see for yourself. As a Euro car it comes with a KMH speedometer and odometer which shows 269,666 kilometers or 167,562.7 miles. . .just broken in for an E30. The previous owner performed quite a bit of work to this little E30 including. . .full paint to a high level on a rust-free body, renewed M-Tech suspension and a top-end rebuild of the engine. Since purchasing the car in May of 2012 I have performed the following. . . -professional wet sand and buff of an already high quality paint finish -Install period correct black vinyl M-Sport interior with front Recaro sport seats -Install M-Tech steering wheel and M shift knob with new shift boot -Install new CoCo mats. . .the black with blue dots really sets off the interior -renew the rear speaker deck in dark gray -Refinish intake manifold and valve cover -Top end reseal which included the replacement of any other worn lines and hoses -Replace power steering fluid reservoir and lines -New fuel injectors -New spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor -New Ireland Engineering exhaust from the manifold back. . .no catalytic converter! E30 will also come with two factory keys, correct Euro owner's manual, Euro Bentley repair manual and pretty extensive service/repair history. This car has been thorughly inspected by BMW Newport and, needless to say, everything checks out great! Compression for each cylinder is within factory specs, engine timing is right on. . .the car runs great and has plenty of power. It's a blast to drive! *Please note. . .this is a no AC car. . .not a terribly difficult addition considering that this E30 needs nothing else* This is a top-notch E30 that's pretty unique due to it's European roots. . .just in need of a new owner.
