Vehicle Detail

Beautiful 1989 Ford Bronco XLT 351 For sale is my 1989 Bronco. I purchased it in 2008 with 93,000 miles on it. I have put thousands of dollars into it, and many hours, but it's time for someone to else to repaint and enjoy it. I will do my best to describe the vehicle in detail, and even though it is in excellent condition for its age, it is still 25 years old. Within the last two years (about 4,000 miles), I started to completely refurbish the truck to get it as close to 100% as I could. Within that time, it has had a new distributor installed, a complete tune- up, new Skyjacker shocks and springs installed, heavy duty steering stabilizer installed, and a few more small things. The wheels and tires were put on about a year and a half ago, they are powder coated Cregar wheels with BFG Mud Terrain 2s. Last spring, I was able to find a BesTop fold down soft top with zip up windows. I no longer have the hard top, but the rear window does still work. Since I've owned it, I have put in a new battery, installed a complete Alpine sound system, and have had brake, steering and front end work. I had new engine mounts installed last year. The cooling system has been almost completely replaced. The interior is in excellent condition. All electronics work flawlessly. As you can see from the pictures, it has been debadged and the mirrors removed, in addition to some light sanding, in preparation for a new coat of paint. The Bronco is completely to stock specifications when it comes to the drivetrain. The only "performance" or "custom" modification that has been done, beside the lift, is the installation of a full exhaust system, which was on it when I bought it. The only thing that needs attention not shown in the pictures is an exhaust leak coming from the driver's side header. I would have completed the paint prior to listing, but every buyer would look at this Bronco differently, and I'd hate to put a really nice coat of paint on an offroad truck, and at the same time I'd hate to put a half ass paint job on a show truck. It would also be plausible to do some minor touch up paint and put on a coat of wax, which I would have done, but I'm not trying to sugar coat anything. The Bronco, of course, comes with the mirrors and badges. I can re-install them if you would like. Also, since the pictures were taken, a new grill and driver's headlight have been installed. If you have any questions or would like to see the vehicle, please email me or give me a call at 515.710.9374. Thanks!
