GENES-TV-ELECTRONIC-PARTS Store I purchased this car in 2000 for my mother. I wanted to dress up the car so that my mother would have a classy car to drive. I wanted this car to last her until the time came that she could no longer drive. Unfortunately, that time has arrived. When I purchased the car it had about 20,000 miles on it, it now has almost 30,000 miles on it. There was a lot of cosmetic work performed to accomplish this goal. The car was purchased from a used car lot, so I don't know much about the car prior to my purchase. VEHICLE HAD A 1985 ENGINE INSTALLED AS THE ORIGINAL 1984 ENGINES HAD A CASTING ISSUE. CONDITION: I test drove the car on Sunday 8/11/2013 for the first time since the year 2000. All accessories are functional including the air conditioning. Car drive excellent and handles perfectly. Power steering in responsive and nimble. Car has good brake action, and car has excellent acceleration. Car performs as I would expect from a car of this caliber. This car is immaculate. There is a small hole in headliner near the center of the headliner, and there are some VERY minor rock chips behind the passenger door. Interior is immaculate including dashboard which shows no sign of wear. NICE DRIVING CAR. OTHER THAN WHAT IS DESCRIBED HERE, I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THE CAR EXCEPT IT RUNS AND LOOKS GOOD. Prior to paint work, All interior parts were removed, all window glass and all chrome was removed. body was meticulously sanded down to bare metal AND RE-PRIMERED.THERE WAS NO BODY DAMAGE AND THERE WAS NO RUST. ALL BUMPER TO BODY FILLERS ARE SOFT AND PLIABLE WITH NO CRACKING .PAINT WAS APPLIED WITH 2 COATS OF BLACK PAINT AND FOLLOWED BY AN APPLICATION OF CLEAR COAT. THE PAINT IS VERY SHINY AND GLOSSY. THIS CAR IS IMMACULATE THIS IS A NON-SMOKING CAR SINCE THE YEAR 2000. CLASSIC ROLLS-ROYCE GRILL AND HOOD CAP ($650.00). HISTORY: Purchased in 2000 with 20,000 miles from a used car dealer.I have no knowledge of prior history. My mother drove it until 2011 adding another 9,000 miles on it. She has not been able to drive since.
