1999 9-3 Convertible SE, Fire Engine Red color, automatic transmission. 123,356 miles. PRICED TO SELL! Kelly Blue Book valued at $4,000.... except it has a few major issues below... It's been a phenomenal car, and sad to see her go...but offering her up because she has some issues . Please read below if interested for known issues -- note that this car will definitely need some work!: **PLEASE EMAIL WITH ANY QUESTIONS, FOR MORE PHOTOS, OR TO VIEW THE CAR THIS WEEK IN ARLINGTON!** What works: *I'm the last of 3 owners of the vehicle* -- I've owned the car since 2009 without any major problems besides those mentioned below -- Loaded with every Option including heated Seats, new CD system, Remote entry with Alarm The factory paint is in perfect condition, matching the light cream/tan Leather Interior. Has all books & manuals, as well as service records Service is up to date.... The soft top & hydraulics work GREAT! Comes up and down quiet & smooth Beige Leather Interior & Red factory paint job/exterior are in immaculate shape. Some minor wear on lower part of hood (from sap) and some light chipping on the rear-passenger's side bumper, but you'd never know! The front passenger and driver seats are worn on the seat itself - these need a little bit of stitching as you can see from the photos. Wheels/rims/tires all in great shape Leather seats, airbags, seatbelts, etc. -- all in great shape. The front seat cushions may need a bit of stitching, however. New CD player/Radio/AV cord for iPod plus display -- and interior electronics and display are all in great shape. What doesn't work: The car has some issues, to say the least. The car does start and run, since we bypassed the AC converter. But this car definitely needs some work. Most notable as identified by a AAA Care Center this month: 1. There is a major leak in the automatic transmission and will need to be replaced soon. Not sure how long that will last. 2. The AC Converter is locked up, so that will need to be replaced in order to restore air conditioning. 3. The suspension mount in rear is beginning to rust from the frame - it's a bit of a bumpy ride. 4. The right driver's side rear window doesn't come up without a little bit of a manual tug (but sits tight once you pull it up) 5. The soft top is worn overall -- day to day it's fine, but under heavy, consistent rain it begins to leak after about 20 minutes. Relatively minor, but you do get a bit wet, particularly in the rear of the vehicle. 6. There are other minor cosmetic issues, such as the front "Saab" logo has worn off and is no longer attached to the nose/hood, but I still have the plastic bit if you want to re-attach it! 7. The car does start and run when hooked up to a battery, but as soon as it's pulled off the cable it dies. I think that just means it needs a new battery. 8. The console display of the time, MPG, etc. sometimes does not display all of the text properly. Not a major problem, but wanted to be clear about that as well.
