I am selling my TR3 after owning it for 20 years! When I bought this car it was a good driver and I drove and enjoyed it in parades and with my wife on country rides. About 10 years ago it was taken apart and the engine was rebuilt with new over sized pistons and sleeves, the suspension was also completely redone including the bushings and all hard suspension parts. The car was painted and the interior was done at that time as well. Since then we have enjoyed about 10,000 miles with the car and completed several 400 mile TSD rallies. The car never let me down( except for yesterday when I drove it for the first time in a while and ran out of gas). This summer it was repainted and looks great however there is some dust and flaws in the paint work. I believe that a good detailing and buffing would solve most of these issues. The interior is the same one that I had replaced about ten years ago and shows some wear but looks good unless you are really picky. The floors and rockers were replaced prior to my ownership and are rust free. Known issues(there is always something) It sometimes pops out of second gear, properly a weak syncro. The included soft top has two minor tears where it rubs on the top rails The included side curtains need attention, A small tear and the plastic windows need to be replaced. I have the full size windshield( I just like the racing windshields) and a box of new rubber parts that are also included. The overall true mileage is unknown as I replaced the speedo.
