UP FOR SALE - 1992 VOLKSWAGEN CORRADO SLC - BLACK with APPROXIMATELY 180,000 MILES. DETAILS: I have owned this car for 12 years. It has been garage kept since 06. I love it like crazy, but have accidentally come across another vehicle that I just can't say no to. It has been a while since most of this stuff was done, so I may forget some things: THE GOOD: Engine/trans rebuild in approximately 2002-2003 at around 155k miles. EIP high flow intake Ported and polished head block from 98 Jetta 256* DSR cams lightened flywheel lightened underdrive pulleys 180* thermostat new crackpipe new guides new style new power steering rack replaced reverse, 1st, and 3rd and syncros Quaife limited slip Neuspeed springs new rear calipers new roof rail trim Garret chip Neuspeed intake Borla cat back exhaust control arm bushings new cooling fan new belts and hoses pads and rotors about 15k on them 17 " Monte Carlo wheels. 2 newer tires with approximately 10K miles on them. The paint is in pretty good shape for a 21 year old car. It's still shiny. Heater core replaced by VW under recall approx 2003 MFA works Wing works Glass sunroof works windows work cruise works all lights work Extra door cards and some Misc trim will come with the car. It has been very reliable and never left me stranded, but I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting. THE BAD: Needs two tires A/C has a leak and blows warm I got the wrong inner valve springs when I built it and they are a little noisy on start-up. Otherwise they're fine. There is some rust on the rocker panels. I covered it with metal tape and then sprayed it with undercoating. There is also some rust above the rear bumper. The interior was swapped with red dot and is missing a couple trim pieces and could use a little freshening up. The left auto seatbelt doesn't work and was disconnected. There is a buckle mounted to the B pillar. The ABS light is on and off. I think it is just the relay. The head unit is an old Sony one with new Sony speakers. There is a cheap amp and sub that works sometimes and sometimes doesn't. I have only put about 35k miles on the car in the 12 years that I have owned it. It is stored in my garage all winter and doesn't come out in rain or bad weather. It only needs a little TLC to be perfect. I am looking for a home for the car for someone who will love it like I do and bring her to the glory she once had.
