Vehicle Detail
For Sale is my 1981 Camaro Z28 with it's matching number drive train. Very hard to find last year body style car with 4 speed A/C and T-Tops, only 1000 or so came this way. Also has Tilt Wheel, Pulse Wipers, R Defog Manual Windows. Car is very nice and runs strong.Paint is nice but not perfect. Every thing works ,including the cowl induction hood. A/C is ice cold and there are no rattles which is common on t-top cars. This is a turn key car , most everything has been rebuilt. The only non stock items are: the previous owner installed hooker headers. I also replaced the troublesome CCC quadrajet carb with a NOS Edlebrock quadrajet and a MSD Hi PO vac advance distributor. Car runs super. If you are tired of looking at z28's with sagging doors, leaking heater cores, wipers that don't turn off, missing components and electrical gremlins then this car is for you. Only issues are a tach that reads high and some occasional minor gear clash from first to second if you quick shift ( shifts fine if you don't rush the shifting). Car spent time in NY State. NY does not track mileage on cars that are of this vintage, so I can't say for sure that the mileage is accurate, but since this was a mostly unmolested car with I'd say that the mileage is close. $500 deposit via pay pal due with 48 hours and the balance via cash or bank wire due within 2 weeks On Oct-02-13 at 16:20:41 PDT, seller added the following information: In response to all the questions, I've included photos of the body tag and the engine stamping as well as the transmission stamping and the vin tag all clearly showing that it is indeed an all matching numbers drive train. Could not find numbers on the axle , but it is indeed the factory ratio of 3:42. I've also included the speedometer gear reduction device ONLY found on 4 speed cars. These are IMPOSSIBLE to find and most are missing on today's cars.
