Vehicle Detail

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4WD, V8, Quadra-Drive Orig. Owner, 251,000 miles, Non-Smoker – No accidents. · Bright Platinum Metallic with Taupe cloth bucket seats · 4.7L Power Tech V8 engine with auxiliary transmission oil cooler · Quadra-Drive 4WD system with Vari-Lok Progressive axles · Up Country Suspension with skid plates for front suspension, fuel tank, and transfer case, suspension – heavy duty w/gas shocks, tow hooks and P245/70R16 tires. · Preferred Package 28F with mini overhead console, deep tint sunscreen glass, rear view mirror auto day/night, automatic headlamps, power front seats, security alarm, cargo compartment cover. · Trailer tow group IV with power steering cooler · Upgraded Infinity Premium stereo & speakers · Power sunroof · Fog lamps · California emissions · Smoker group – extra power outlet in front console · Stereo was upgraded to Alpine IDA-X200 head unit with USB interface. I purchased the vehicle new with 10 miles. Non Smoker and no accidents. Vehicle engine runs well and transmission shifts smoothly. It has been very dependable and never broke down or left me stranded. Garage kept until about 3.5 years ago. Engine burns some oil and leaks a bit of oil. It has not been a daily driver for that 3.5 years but I used to have add oil once between oil changes. I have lost track of when I add oil but would say it has increased and is probably twice between oil changes of 5k miles. Oil always changed between 3,500 and 5,000 miles. Center differential leaks some fluid due to a leaking seal to the rear drive shaft – I have a new OEM seal to be included. The following is some work done to it in the last 5 years. I tried to use OEM parts when possible: 1. 3/08, 181k miles – changed transmission fluid. 2. 10/08, 191k miles – new brake rotors and pads, front and rear, OEM. 3. 11/08, replaced heater and evaporator core, OEM. 4. 2/10, replaced front drive shaft, OEM. 5. 4/10, 217k miles – replaced front brake calipers and pads, brake master cylinder and booster, and front shocks, OEM. 6. 9/10, 220k miles – front end alignment and new Bridgestone H/L Alenza tires 7. 4/11, replaced front right hub, OEM. 8. 12/11, 236k miles – replaced rear brake pads, OEM. 9. 12/11, 236k miles – replaced alternator. Oil analysis done on 1/09 at 195,000 miles and everything was OK. Weather Tech floor mats and cargo liner since new have protected the rug. Vehicle has normal small dings and scratches on exterior and minor spots on interior except for rear of front passenger seat has large light discoloration from something rubbing against it. Two dings on left rear wheel well. Wheels show their age and mileage even though not seen in pictures. There is a crack in the driver’s door elbow rest covered by duct tape, slight damage to front right bumper with nearby 2-3 inch scratch from shopping cart, headlights are yellowed. Have one set of keys w/fob and one spare key w/out fob - lost one set of keys w/fob. About half the lug nuts are missing the outer cover. There may be a small hole in the exhaust – sometimes I hear what sounds like a leak (not very noticeable) and I have looked and did not find it. The light under the center console goes on and off intermittently. Overhead trip computer with miles to service etc. not accurate and the cruise control switch needs to be pressed several times to engage. Hinge on left side of flipper glass not working and flipper glass does not open. Leather on steering wheel cracked and you might want to cover. Vehicle has been debadged. Other work needed to be done: Front right CV boot is torn and makes occasional clicking noise when making hard turns and seal on rear left axle leaks. Humming coming from left rear axle and or rear. I think the left rear axle bearing needs replacement and possibly some bearings in rear. Occasionally, the steering makes a slight noise when turning – mechanic said it was not the steering pump but probably parts rubbing that needed lubrication. Driver’s seat rake motor runs but the seat rake does not move. I have tried to list as much as I can think of that is important. Ask anything and feel free to inspect the vehicle in person. Pick up in person - Cash Only. Thanks for looking. NOTE: RE: ACCIDENT LISTED ON 11/02/03 There was NO body damage of any kind. I was parked at a light and there was a car next to me. A third car went between us and hit the passenger side mirror and flipped it forward but side swiped the car next to me. I had a bike on the back that was worth a lot of money and I was afraid he may have hit a wheel on the bike and I would not be able to tell until I got home to ride and test the bike if there was damage. I had the officer report that I was involved in case the bike was damaged. I flipped the mirror back and all was fine. There was no damage to the Jeep or bike.
