Well here I got a overall pretty nice unique jeep j10 pick up...when I say pretty nice I mean the base of the truck and mechanically very sound is great does have what I would call a little less rust overall then most of these but does have its share.. Also it is unmolested and all original with a lot of documentation and options you don't normally see like a/c.. I will list factory upgraded options below. I got from a older fella who had it for the past 18 years or so and it was his baby but he can no longer drive. sat for past year in his garage til I got it. I bought the truck with hopes of using it to plow and in my woods for firewood etc, but unfortunately the trails I have are way too tight for it and just isn't gonna work, so I would rather see someone use it and or restore than me let it sit now or smash it into trees trying to get around. So here goes details... this truck even has the original build sheet and window sticker plus owners manual. oem jack behind seat. powerful 360ci V8 dana 44 rears front and rear. hi/low select- track on the fly 4wd..works great a real bear. These are amazing 4wds runs very nice, a little cold blooded, not sure if factory choke is working, but a few pumps of gas and she starts right up and runs good.. quiet, no noises, has 2 barrel carb and auto trans. runs, shifts smooth and goes down the road straight as an arrow. brakes work great, can let go of the wheel and she tracks great, everything on truck works as it should except a few minors... interior light needs new door switches, but they work with dash switch. radio readout goes out sometimes but am/fm radio works good. factory air cond. runs but needs recharged. so as you can see I added lots of pics and will describe too..i try to cover it all out of respect for you the buyer and I restore cars and bikes on the side so I know what to look for.. paint of course as you can see is faded, cracked and clear coat mia here and there.. so the old pap was not a body man.., but he tried to keep her nice... you can see the repairs in pics mostly on bedsides around wheel wells and toward the back have putty in them. the rockers have some thin spots, a few small holes. drivers cab corner has some rust through, inner kick panel area has some spots like a lot of these did. due to the wheel wells being all steel on these the drivers side was rusted through into bed and that had a new pc of steel put on, hard to even notice on inside of bed. a little tiny hole at back of wheel well going into bed. pass. side bedside has holes up through in front of wheel as you can see.. that's most of the bad spots... but there is a lot of good... 8 foot bed...inside of it on the floor and underneath is in great shape.. some minor surface rust, no holes or weak spots other than that spot I mentioned. even front of bed toward cab is nice and straight, not smashed forward like most. front fenders are rust free that I can see.. hood and roof look great doors are really good a few very tiny spots on inner lip towards interior.. bottoms a good. tailgate is all solid, interior is almost perfect other than carpet having stains all over. new carpet and seriously the interior would look awesome and near new, even the headliner is perfect. the optional seat looks awesome with a few small slits here and there where you don't sit. dash has no cracks, all gauges etc look great, steering wheel awesome. all glass is nice with the windshield having some minor fogging around edges like these trucks got.. the frame is in great shape, some minor normal flaking here and there...solid as a rock. same with floor, cant see any spots on floor that are bad from underneath. engine compartment all stock and clean other than hood insulation mia. had in my shop parked on concrete for over a week and seen no leaks on floor.. so onto new parts and factory options. also as you can see it has a older electric over hydraulic with manual release to lower, good myers snow plow with factory mount ( not botch job) and power unit which does work, i powered up but not hooked up in truck, wires and solenoid there under hood.. can be removed and sold like I was gonna do, but thought someone could use it, and then bumper just goes right back in factory mounts.. he got rid of plow separate. front bumper very nice inside and out as well as stainless grille..very nice. rear bumper is twisted up a bit. new parts in past couple weeks..... new battery, new cap and rotor, new gas filter, new air filter.. new front brake pads, put some 31x10.50x15 dunlop all terrain tires on it with a strong half tread or better.. had little 25's just didn't look right. and pap said in the past 10k miles or so he had the tranny completely rebuilt and new factory exhaust y-pipe on the exhaust in the past 5k. miles.. and it looks it. exhaust then has catalytic converter , muffler and exits out pass side in front of tire. very quiet. factory options right from build sheet are as follows.. grenadine met. paint tan tooled grain vinyl 3 pass. bench seat, 2.73 axle ratio, 5.9 l 360 w/2brl, 18.2 gallon plastic gas tank..so no rust ! spare tire (which is in bed) convenience lighting ,auto w selec-trac 4wd, air conditioning, sliding rear window, am/fm stereo, sport style steering wheel, dual mirrors, step rear bumper, chrome stainless grille, pioneer package which includes door trim, armrests, bright window trim, body mouldings, eqi package and light group. so I think I covered it... very good running , low miles for the year, solid overall rare optioned jeep j10 for someone who loves jeeps or just wants a very good work horse cause this truck will do it. these trucks are a dying breed, actually I think this is the last year for them and like I said I think this one is a good base for a restore if that's what you seek too, I even thought of that but have enough projects. plus ya got the big 360 v8 and the good rears if you need a good drivetrain and interior for another..alot of possibilities here and good ol unmolested truck... thanks for looking and my reserve is set very fair considering the nada value on these and some I seen sell on here which were not as nice or as good of options and drivetrain... thanks and read all details below please.. clear title in hand and the truck is currently inspected til end of month and I do not see it needing anything to pass again for sure.
