Here we have a very good driving and attractive IMPALA. The drive train includes a 235 inline 6 cylinder- which was a special ordered from the factory just the way sits. I think I have collected some of the most desirable old chevys, and this 58 is no exception, Please enjoy looking @ the pictures, some of the other vehicles in my collection. YES, this is extremly RARE, and a true compliment to a true classic. In my most humble opinion NO Chevy collection would be complete w/o a 235 c.i. being included. This engine starts quick, runs smooth and is powerful - with no smoking, no leaks, no blow back. The transmission shifts very smooth, steering is easy, no play in sector, and is exciting to drive............. With that being said, I felt the hertiage of this vehicle has a special appeal. Interior: New seat covers and new carpet, included is a new horn button assembly kit, new vent stops and new glove box (not installed) The headliner and door panels are original and shows aging, the buyer may want to replace! Due to my low reserve price, making these changes, I felt wasn't in my budget. Exterior: This has 4 coats of fresh urathene ( which previously this vehicle had the original paint) YES, The trunk floor is all Original- No mat- I did not paint, so you see. The front floor is amazingly solid! Rear pans had minor rust- but has been professionally repaired using new metal. New door glass (all other oem good) New front tires, New brake lines. New radiator hoses( closed @ water pump, I did not want coolant in heater core while in storage, core is good ,no leaks). Lower stainless for windshield is included, previous owner elected to put screws in current stainless. Also, other items are included, and will be place in the trunk!! Doors open and close as if this car was new, windows roll up and down very good! The bumpers and chrome is of driver quality, some pit is present in the pot metal (See Photoes) To take this car to the next level, I would consider replating these parts for show purposes. The fact, That I have a low reserve, the new owner will have room to wiggle with any additional costs, and still be within the price to what it is worth!. Exhaust: New muffler and tail Pipe.
