Vehicle Detail

1995 Chevrolet Camaro with 131,680 miles. 3.4L V6 with t-tops, Bose premium sound system, aftermarket stereo (with AUX). KBB in Excellent condition near $4,000. This has been a great car. My dad bought it from the original owner back in 2004. We've owned it since 60,000 miles. The previous owner lived in Florida and sold it to us (kept in garage most of the time). I took really good care of it. Regular oil changes with fully synthetic oil its entire life. New tires were put on about 4 years ago (about 75% tread life left). The car has recently had some mechanical issues: - Overheating very quickly after starting and driving down the road. Was told it's a blown head gasket. Got some head gasket sealant, flushed the radiator, installed the sealant and it appears to have fixed the problem. I've driven about 50 miles on it since and there haven't been any issues with overheating. But the actually problem was never fixed. - It idles rough. Mechanic told me this was the fuel pump going out. Haven't repaired that. - When it gets above 45 mph, there is a vibration/shaking. It's not so bad that you can't drive it, but you can definitely notice it. Had the transmission mount fixed (was cracked before), which helped significantly, but you can still feel it. Not sure what's going on there. On the outside, it's in very clean condition. Normal scratches from 18 years of life, but in above average condition there. Seats and carpet both have stains from a few soda spills over the years. Dark floor helps mask that. My wife and I recently bought a 2005 Toyota Prius, so we have no need for this Camaro - even if it were in fine operating condition. This would be ideal for someone who knows how to fix cars. I'm not one of those people, unfortunately. :) I've tried to describe the car as best as possible. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. Feel free to hire an independent mechanic to look at the car or look up the CARFAX. It's never been in any accidents. Clean title. Being sold AS-IS. You are in charge of arranging your own shipping, if necessary. Otherwise, pick up ONLY.
