This vehicle is also for sale locally as well For sale locally for $6995 Description 1984 Porsche 944 We have just lowered the asking price $1000, to sell quickly but feel free to make an offer. Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful CLASSY COMFORTABLE SPORTY 1984 Porsche 944. Yes, there are ALOT of 944's out there for sale. But very few are like this one! This car is part of my own personal collection. It is so far beyond the condition of most 944's out there. The reasons being are listed... * There is NO RUST anywhere on the car * The floors, and undercarriage are PERFECT (and I dont use that word often) The inside of the trunk and corners are solid, the strut mounts are solid. again, THERE IS NO RUST! and all of the factory undercoating is still under the car! * I have the original books, and manuals. * * I have the original window Stickers from the California Dealer * * I have a folder of service records for Timing Belt, Water Pump, Clutch, and SO MUCH more all from a Porsche Certified Mechanic all done since 2008 * * I also have the original floor mats * * It has the original carpeting without any stains, rips, or tears * * I have the Service Manual for this vehicle as well as some random spare parts* I just put on a set of 911 Rims that are in great shape, and have LITERALLY BRAND NEW TIRES with less than 80 miles on them. The rims were $600 and the tires were $180 each ($720) totaling $1320 in rims and tires alone! The brakes and exhaust are in good shape, the exhaust is tight and the undercarriage is clean. Here is a brief detailed description of the car. The motor starts right up and runs excellent. It does not burn any oil or tick on a cold start. It is completely solid and very reliable. The transmission and clutch shift smoothly with no issues. The clutch has recently been replaced and I have records for it. The undercarriage is completely solid with absolutely no rust and still has the original factory undercoating on it. The car came to New England from California in 2008. It was stored and not driven much in CA. It was then slowly gone through piece by piece and anything that needed to be replaced or updated was done by a certified Porsche mechanic. (with records to show) The exterior is in great shape. The paint is a 7.5-8 out of 10. It looks great and can be taken to car shows and really appreciated, but it is not a perfect show winning NEW paint job. There are a few slight road chips on the front bumper (pictured). I would suggest a nice wet sand and full buff to really bring the shine back to its 100% beauty. The paint and body are in great shape. It is just not perfect and has a little age to it. The targa top is electronic. It flips up and can also be removed and stored in the hatch. The power windows and all the electronic options work well and are in no way tired. The seats in the rear are original and in excellent condition with no rips, tears, cracking, or fading. The Fronts are not original. They have been replaced with leather racing style seats that are very comfortable and match the car well. The original dash is covered with a plastic replacement dash cover that fits perfectly and is not very noticeable. The shifter area still has the original carpeting surrounding the shifter which is in good shape. The radio is an Aftermarket CD player that works and sounds great. There is a slight rip in the center console/armrest about 1.5-2" long. (pictured) All the knobs and bezels are there and in working condition. To give it an overview...This car is in EXCELLENT shape for its age. It is completely solid and has everything a collector would want (service records, books, manuals, history, and it is a rust free car) Just get in it, turn the key and drive it across the country. This is a FINE piece to add to any collection. The car is VERY nice, CLEAN, and READY for a new owner! This is not a new car, so please dont expect one.
