On Sep-12-13 at 07:26:18 PDT, seller added the following information: I have fielded these questions from a few different folks so I felt I should update the posting : 1. The car has NEVER been in an accident. 2. There have been no engine modifications. 3. After-market exhaust sounds AWESOME. Its NOT loud or obnoxious. 4. The car has never transported pets -- dogs, cats... none. 5. There is absolutely NO RUST on the car. 6. New England winters are brutal, but this car has never seen a snowflake. It is garaged (stored) in a temperature-controlled warehouse all winter. On Sep-13-13 at 07:01:25 PDT, seller added the following information: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Numerous Inquiries re: Service Records : I received 5 years of free oil changes when I bought the car from Carter Dodge (this dealership is now closed). The oil was changed by Carter 2-3x / year -- even though the 4th was free, it didn't get done because I didn't take the car out of storage during the winter months. The mileage was so low anyways that I didn't worry about it. Since then, the car has been serviced at Bolle's Motors in Ellington CT, each year just prior to being stored for the winter (11/09, 11/10, 11/11). Oil was changed at that annual appointment along with their 23 point inspections. In 11/11, they identified a small leak in the "NAG SEAL" on the transmission. The fixed it at that appointment -- they fixed the seal, serviced the transmission & changed the fluid, filter & pan gasket. They also suggested replacing the thermostat, so I had that done as well. This is all detailed on the service receipt. No other service work was needed. In the interim, the oil was changed 1-2 times by a client of mine that is a mechanic for high performance cars (older muscle cars & Camaros, Mustangs, Corvettes, etc) at his shop. In the interest of full disclosure -- there has been an intermittent issue with the drivers side rear window. I think the switch might be going because the window works and then one random day it wont work ? There is no noise when it goes up and down - it just operates like all of the other windows and you'd never know anything was amiss. I test drove the car last night and it went up and down flawlessly, as it should. But I wanted to point this out. On Sep-15-13 at 11:23:47 PDT, seller added the following information: --------------------------------------------------------- Since multiple people have asked me these questions, I am posting this : I purchased the car new. I am the original owner. One of the last pics I posted is the sticker that was on the window when the car was picked up. You can see that it says my name is at the top : "This car was built especially for ......" I have essentially been the only driver. My wife hasn't even driven the car -- literally not even once (it was too big for her). The sub-woofer in the back was installed because I love music in my cars -- good sounding music. The after market door speakers were over $500 -- the stereo, with the amp, sub and all around speakers, simply sounds awesome... to me. I thought about taking it all out but decided its too hard to do. I am not going to chop everything up un-installing it. I am passing everything on to a new owner so he / she can enjoy the car exactly the way I did. Yes, I know the car is very fairly priced. On Sep-17-13 at 10:40:10 PDT, seller added the following information: ------------------------------------------- The original tires were recalled by Dodge (due to early wear). Once Dodge finally sent me a check, I purchased 4 BRAND NEW tires. The tires on the car now have less than 10,000 miles on them. I will get the exact info from my files late tonite when I get home & post an update to this so you will have the additional info. On Sep-17-13 at 16:16:54 PDT, seller added the following information: ------------- I was mistaken... the new tires have approx 16000 miles on them (I forgot how long ago it was). I also found the VIN etching kit I paid for when I bought the car. Never used of course. It is going to the new owner as well. I am updating this from my phone and cant change the font size. Sorry.
