Up for auction my 1996 Chevy Silverado Z71. I am selling it because I don’t drive it anymore since I got a company car. It’s a great truck. It’s equipped with GM’s flagship 5.7L Vortec motor and I’ve NEVER had an issue. Automatic transmission shifts perfect. If you do some research you will see 130,000 miles is nothing for this drivetrain. I’ve never pulled anything with it. I’ve never even taken it off road. It’s all original. It runs down the road nice and straight. Unfortunately the truck has been outside its entire life (All of which in FL). With the Florida sun comes cosmetic problems. The truck needs to be painted. The truck is straight aside from the passenger rear fender where a tire blew off at some point (before I owned it). The interior is decent again the sun makes leather brittle so the driver’s seat needs to be recovered. I took pictures so you could see it. A/C blows cold but for some reason only comes out of the defrost vent and floor. Nothing will come out of the vents. It could be a vacuum leak or door actuator. Power locks and windows work as they should. It’s a great truck with a timeless look and feel. It runs like it’s brand new. I hate to see it go but I hate to see it sit. It would make somebody an awesome work truck or mud truck.
