Vehicle Detail

For Auction A 1969 Rust Free International Scout 800A New paint No rust Brand new interior (carpet, console, seats) Brand new 31" Mud tires with less than 200 miles on them 304 v8 with 4 spd transmission. (Tranny has a whine-think its a throwout bearing - Goes in and out of gear and shifts just fine) Has full hardtop in excellent condition (white) Will post pic in a bit-it is not on Scout at this moment. Upgraded suspension(new shocks, leaf springs, Shackles, mounts, etc.. New body mounts new stereo New 2 Barrel Holley carb Pertronix Full Disc brake conversion on front New boiled out fuel tank on Drivers side California Smog exempt There are a couple tiny dents where the paint/body guy missed. Have to really look for them. What it needs- Wipers don't work-Never looked into fixing as it's my summer car and garaged Needs front drive shaft-I never used offroad so I didn't need it. The drivers side door lock is missing the locking cylinder Electrical works although the turn signals don't blink for some reason Missing 1 "V" emblem I will be posting more pics of the underside, interior, and whatever anyone wants. I am willing to have everything fixed if we come up with an acceptable price. If it does not meet reserve, I will have all fixed and ask much more as these are becoming more and more rare as most are all rusted out. If you desire better pics of something, be specific and I will post for you Check back for updates as there will be more pics and details as the questions come in. On Sep-10-13 at 13:55:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Updates with new info and answers to everyones questions. Also new pics of the underside. Hardtop pics coming soon. I just took her into mechanic about the transmission whine. He said that he won't know 100% until I get into it, but really most likely sounds like the throwout bearing. $75 part + Labor Paint quality 1-10 with 10 being the best, I would say 8.8. Not perfect but everyone comments how clean it is. Fluids are changed regularly. I won't touch any of the fluids so that you can see how it was maintained. Most people would rather see how the previous owner took care of their rig. I will change all fluids if asked to. This scout is not lifted. It has new body mounts and new 31" muds that give it a nice stance. You can see in the underside pics the welding that was done to keep it stable without any wander whatsoever. On Sep-12-13 at 14:13:26 PDT, seller added the following information: Pics of the hardtop are now posted. As you can see the glass is all in tact. The handle works perfectly and there is no rust. Sorry it is a little dirty, but it will be perfectly clean before it goes back on.
