Vehicle Detail

I am a mechanic by trade. I bought this Fiat 124 to restore. I've pretty much been through it all..top to bottom and side to side. The engine runs great and has strong components inside. Well maintained OHC engine.I took all 4 brake calipers apart. I rebuilt the calipers. The brake pads are in excellent shape. I have a extra set also I will give to you.The clutch is at about 60% left to use. The 4 speed works great.I have a aftermarket CD AM/FM player, not installed.I re-upholstered the entire interior. I replaced the carpet with black auto carpet with black trim on all edges to help it last longer. The door panels and center console are covered in brown pleathera suede.I have gone through the wiring and all seems to be working.I replaced the wood dash.I stained and clear coated the dash. Al gauges do work.I went through all body panels, removed what little imperfections it had. It is basically ready to paint. All glass is in perfect shape.I have all chrome parts, such as bumpers, grill, luggage rack, etc.I removed all body chrome to ready it for painting.I installed a new saddle tan convertible top with a new clear rear window.I replaced the old low backseats with newer high back bucket seats out of a Toyota Camry. The car has a (factory roll bar?) installed as well.(I am told it is not factory?)I went through the steering box too. I replaced the both bearings and races. The worm gear and pinion gears do have some wear, I was going to replace the steering with rack and pinion steering. The only reason I am selling my Fiat is because I just had open heart surgery. I am unable to finish the small work left.I lost my auto shop and am forced to pay medical bills. So I hope a sports car enthusiast will buy this and finish this fun summer ride.I am open to partial trades. I would not mind a street motorcycle, newer camping gear, ask me.As far as shipping goes, I am having the customer pay all shipping fees.I have a tandem axle 20' car trailer I would sell with this for an extra $900 to haul the Fiat home to finish..It does not need DEQ to title. I have a clear, clean title.Contact Eric at 503-568-0291I have lots of photos as I did this project.Just ask as I can email you.
