Vehicle Detail
This listing is for a friend who doesn't have a computer. He lives in Southwestern Pennsylvania in Normalville, PA. This is a 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook Convertible. It has the original PA title. This was pulled out of a barn in 2012. It was purchased from the original owner in PA. They took it on their honeymoon to Niagara Falls. The couple are now in their 90's. It was last inspected in 1967 and then put in the barn. So it was only on the road for 16 years! The mileage shows 10,183 miles. (I don't know if that's 10,183 or 110, 183.) Serial # is 12789793. Because it wasn't on the road that many years, the body is in excellent condition. You probably won't see a more rust-free convertible available. The only place that Since it was pulled out of the barn, it has been stored inside as well. It's never been outside in the elements. It has been sanded and primered. The car was originally yellow according to the factory tags. It is not running and the head was pulled off. The rest of the engine is intact. It is suspected to have bad valves. It is the 6cyl. and 3 speed. The top bows are all there and go up and down easily manually. The top was black. All the glass is good. The interior is in good condition. It has been protected with seat covers possibly since new. The bottom of the front seat cover is gone and you can see the upholstery is not torn or mouse-eaten. The door panels are still good and the back seat still has the seat cover intact. The dash and gauges are all still nice and intact. No broken glass or discoloration. The gauges are nice and easy to read and the dash is nice and clean. The chrome is all straight and nice. Not a single dent. Nothing is missing. It has the optional fingernail guards on the door handles. It even has the stone guards on the rear fenders. The wire wheel covers are aftermarket.
