Near original condition 1972 Honda CT70 HK1 manual 4 speed in desirable ruby red color. Bike has a current Wisconsin Title an has only 933 miles. VIN is CT70H-2008243 and has a near matching engine VIN of CT70HE-208237. I purchased the bike from the original owner just over 2 years ago and put on approximately 275 miles. Bike runs excellent and can reach approximately 42 mph with 170 lb. river, no exhaust smoke, starts first kit, no misses throughout entire throttle range, idles perfectly, horn, hi/low beam switch, rear brake switch and all lights work including the speedo indicator lights. The following parts were replaced by me or by the previous owner preventing the bike from being totally original: Bridgestone tires, tubes, battery, muffler, red rear tail light cover, headlight bulb, tail light bulb, both grips and hand control levers and frame decal (left side was scuffed so I replaced the main frame decal). The condition is very good for a 41 year old bike but it does have flaws (not a show room condition bike by any stretch of the imagination). The paint does have nicks and/or aging on the frame, forks and swing arm, lower front forks and engine covers need polishing; light rust exists under both fenders and in the tight crevices or bottom side of the rear tail light bracket, light scratches, blemishes and rust marks on both rims, and paint wear on foot pegs. Seat has one small hole underneath in the left front that is only visible when eye height is level with the frame or lower. Bike includes the original tool kit with the wrap around style tool case (not ripped) along with 2 original Honda keys with black key covers. I am willing to ship at buyer’s expense using a carrier of the buyer’s choice. I will ship anywhere’s to the lower 48 states. Buyer must coordinate all carrier requirements (obtaining quotes, paying carrier, coordinating bike pick-up time with carrier and me if the carrier picks up directly from residential homes). I can also drop off at any carrier hub located in the Milwaukee area that has a motorcycle delivery system such as Forward Air (buyer to investigate and cover all carrier shipping costs with an originating shipping point of Milwaukee). When shipping with a carrier from a Milwaukee hub that has a motorcycle delivery system, I will drop the bike off, secure the bike in their motorcycle shipping crate using 4 straps and secure the crate with combination locks (actual carrier delivery expense to be paid by buyer). I will email the buyer the lock combinations and I will mail the signed title and keys via USPS mail with tracking and signature requirements to the buyer. Local pick-ups are obviously fine. Please do not inquire with me what shipping costs would be to your area. That is the buyer’s responsibility to investigate and coordinate. Buyer is to pay $500 within 48 hours following the completion of the auction. Balance is due within 7 days following auction completion or prior to shipping or pickup (which ever is sooner).
