Vehicle Detail

In this auction we have a 1972 Triumph T100 Daytona motorcycle. As you can see from the video here (http://youtu.be/CPwARlufSYg), it is running and is a functional machine. It may not yet be an everyday rider, but it has potential for a restoration, a patina bike, a cafe racer, a sleek bobber, a rat bike, a street fighter, or whatever other project you can imagine. With the condition it is in, you basically have potential to make it exactly what you want from the ground up. Please review the photos for the condition details of this motorcycle. It comes with everything you see. For further information, however, here are some details you may wish to consider. The engine starts easily and runs well with no unusual noises. It does smoke and leak some oil, like most machines of this vintage which have not had their seals replaced, but it is (as far as we can see) mechanically sound. The clutch and transmission works well. The tail light is missing, but the wires are there for it along with the brake light switch. The horn and headlight, however, are working appropriately. The mileage shows 3,800 miles but from what we can determine that does not appear to be correct since the speedometer drive on the rear wheel is not functioning. This has a new battery and new fork boots. The carbs have been cleaned and have new gaskets as well. The rear frame section has been replaced and improved from its condition in the previous listing (where it had been modified for what looked like a cafe configuration). Please see our photo with a few additional parts included. The frame and engine numbers match and we do have a CLEAR OHIO TITLE! This is a project bike we had listed before, but we had not taken any steps to get it in running condition. With just a little work, we got to this point and we decided to relist it due to the interest we received post auction from potential buyers. Please let me know if you have any questions during the auction and I will be glad to help you in any way that I can. Shipping, returns, and payment – Shipping is to be arranged by the buyer. You can have a freight company pick it up or you can pick it up in person. Other options will need to be discussed ahead of time. I will accept bids from people outside of the United States. Please feel free to contact me with questions. I require a non-refundable Paypal deposit of $200 within 48 hours of the close of the auction. If you bid on this, please be serious about your intention to buy. The final payment will be accepted as cash upon pickup or through a verified payment method. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions prior to bidding. Since we are dealing with vintage motorcycles, you are purchasing the bike as is with no warranty and no returns accepted at this time. Please see my feedback, however, and feel comfortable that you are getting what you are being shown as it was described. Again, if you have any questions or concerns prior to bidding please feel free to ask and I will contact you as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention!
