Up for sale is a 1978 Ford Thunderbird. Re-painted two years ago. The car has an antique plate (will go with the car when sold) and title; clear title in hand. It has been driven less than 400 miles in three years. The car is driven only in nice weather. Car is garaged during late fall, winter, and spring.Particulars:-400 cu. in. 2v -FMX 3 speed auto transmission-A/C converted to r134a last summer-New vinyl top professionally installed last summer-under 70,000 original miles-Power: windows, driver seat, steering, brakes-new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor installed last summer- Dash clock still working-brake fluid changed to synthetic -oil change using standard oil with zinc additive-Cruise control (does not work - I did not investigate)-power antenna (does not go up and down - I did not investigate)-Four new tires with white walls-original spare and jack is in the trunk-car cover is included-I think the fuel sender needs to be replaced; gas gauge works sometimes, sometimes not. Car drives very nice. I have driven it to Johnstown and back (62 mile round trip) with no problems. It would make someone a nice cruiser. A Haynes automotive manual is included with this vehicle. The car does not like modern fuel (ethanol). So, I always put fuel stabilizer in it. The stated mileage may change a bit as I do drive it on nice days (mainly Sundays). The car is for sale locally, so, this listing may end without notice should the car sell locally. I will entertain reasonable offers. No trades.
