This is a very rare 1958 Volvo 445. It is not currently running, but it is 99% complete. I bought this last year with the intent to restore. However, since I am currently working on a 544 and the fact that my family is about to expand, I do not see myself getting to this car in the near future. That is why I decided to let it go. This car was originally from Pennsylvania, and from the window sticker, it was registered until1981. This car was stored in PA until it was purchased by a wagon collector in 1988. He never did anything with it. I purchased it last year and has been inside my garage since. I too have not done anything with it so far. It needs complete restoration. The car shows about 91,000 miles on the odometer, and a believe the mileage to be correct. Pretty much everything is on the car, even the exhaust is still there. If I had a 6 volt battery, I would have tried to start it. Engine is free and the car rolls. The gas tank was removed and stored inside the vehicle. ( You will see it in the pictures) Looks like rust repair was done at one point over several areas. Also, it looks like the passenger door and fender were hit and repaired at some time. The reason it is so rusty is because the bondo fell out and exposed the metal. I could not see any damage on the frame from this. Besides what you see on the pictures, the front floor boards will need attention. The floors at the back are good. The wood is all there. The glass is actually in good shape with little to no hassing. This vehicle is sold as-is. I have a Wisconsin title for it. I am selling this locally as well, so I reserve the right to end this auction early. I will require non-refundable $200 for down payment via paypal and balance in cash when vehicle is picked up.
