FOR SALE 2002 MK4 Jetta 2.0L Auto Hey Guys, I think it is time I move on. My car is a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L Automatic, with 144,xxx miles. After having the car a year and a half, I have realized that I both want something a little faster and with a manual transmission. I absolutely love my current car to death but I have been constantly told that if I want something faster or manual, just to buy a new faster car and ditch my 2.slow. Even though this 2.0 may not be the fastest vdub, it is pretty quick and so much fun to drive. (An excellent first car). Because of this I am very firm with what I want for the car, I do want something faster but I also don’t want to be robbed for it. Anyway more about the car. This car is a 2002 Jetta. The person I bought it from gave it to his daughter to commute and told us it was mostly highway miles. He did replace some things on the engine recently but honestly I don’t remember. The 2.0L engine in this car runs great. Out of 10, the engine runs 9/10 every day all day. It is also quite quick and I thought it was really fast until I got a ride in my friend’s vr6. Since I have had the car, I have put on around 6,000 miles and the mileage will go up since I drive it almost every day. Furthermore, since I purchased the car, I have installed only an air intake kit on it, everything else is unmolested regarding the engine. I do still have the original air box that I could include at no cost. The body work is probably a 6/10. The paint looks great but it still has its fair share of scratches and bumps. Things I have done to the car: (THE PROS) Cold Air Intake: Have factory box New Headlights New Taillights: Have oem tails Hood Bra Plasti-Dipped the wheels: can easily be removed New rear shocks Jetta Gli sport interior Jetta Gli Monster Mats Leather door panles Stubby Antenna New Transmission Seals New coil pack and spark plug wires Oil Change done around 2,000 miles ago All new lug nuts New Tires: 70% tread left New glovebox THE CONS: Probably the only con would have to be the suspension. The car rides fine right now on the stock suspension but it’s not fresh. I wanted to upgrade to a cup kit but just don’t have the money to do so. By the way my name is Tom.
