Up for auction is a 1978 4x4 f100 custom stepside. It has a strong 351 in it. Unsure of miles but I think it shows somewhere around 75,000. I'll list the good first ...good strong 351,transmission is good,4x4 works great,has 3 inch body lift,rear end is good,tires are decent,heat works,after market radio works,put new gas tank on it about 5 years ago but gas gauge does not work. Now I'll list the bad and what I know it needs...carburetor or carburetor rebuilt,distributor,wires,battery,brake lines run to rear of truck,does have some rust as shown in pictures,windshield has a crack on passenger side,door mirror on passenger side. Was letting it run after sitting for a couple of years and the carburetor was leaking gas and had a small engine fire burning the distributor and wires and some wiring. The burnt distributor and wires is the only reason it is currently not running. This truck is located at my mothers house in chase city virginia and the buyer must pick it up and haul away. I now live in tennessee. After sale and payment we can make arrangements for pick up of truck and title and keys. I had so much fun with this truck and had big dreams of restoring it but selling due to illness. It needs some love and tlc but I hope whoever buys it gets as much enjoyment as I have from it!
