This1966 Mustang was originally a maroon colored 289 2-barrel California black plate car and still has a 289 with a 2-barrel carb and 3-speed C-4 trans. The car was sold at a lien sale auction years ago and had a salvage title put on it because of the lien sale, it then sat in a garage for several years. The car was completely gone through and is currently registered in California 8/2014. The car runs and drives, all the gauges, lights etc. are in working condition. Everything is here, you can have a daily driver, flip it for cash or if you need strip the 10k in new parts for your project, my reserve is less than half of the cost of these parts. Any way you slice it this will be my loss and your gain. The Good The list of new parts include, brand new special order 15" BFG tires, new Sony stereo system, updated interior with four way harness and head rest. List of new mechanical parts include: Complete front disk brake conversion New front and rear brake lines New front Tie Rods and new front upper and lower A-arms All new shocks front and back All new Emergency brake system All new rear brakes, including new hardware, wheel cylinders etc. New gas tank, radiator, heater core, master cylinder, starter, alternator, distributer, plugs wires etc. The motor was gone through and the c-4 transmission has a shift kit The motor has rebuilt heads, rebuilt carb. with elect. choke, new oil pump, new rear main seal, etc. The rear end was gone through and the front and rear wheel bearings were replaced The car comes with new fan shroud, radiator overflow kit and water pump that need to be installed The car also comes with all new emblems still in the package and new windshield wipers The Bad The new starter hangs up on the new fly wheel at starts only and needs a minor adjustment There is a new water pump, fan shroud and overflow kit that need to be installed The Ugly The car had a lot of chips in the paint and a couple of dents in the front quarter panel, so the front and rear windshield trim and hardware were removed as we were planning to give it another coat of paint. All of the emblems, windshield wipers hardware front and rear windshield trim are included.
