This is a survivor car, finished in a classic black and white two-toned finish. This most chomed of all Buicks is one of just over 1000 ever made and are found in restored condition selling for over $140,000. This particular car has been sitting in a garage since 1980 and still has the original interior, running nailhead engine (see below), transmission and even the exhaust system remains! It comes with two replacement (for repairs) fenders and all or most of the amazing chrome. It has had the radiator professionally re-built. It has had the master cylinder rod re-chromes and rebuilt along with all new brakes and shoes. It has had a tune up of filters, etc. There are many 'ahead-of-its-time" features to this car including accelerator start and power windows. The "work-yet-to-do" NEWS. The biggest bad news is that this original engine has a crack in it that was discovered once the engine heated up. One may repair this although it would likely be a challenge. I have a 1960 nailhead engine to include with it if the buyer decides. I could also install it for an additional $500. Rust-wise, frame and most of the body is incredibly solid except for the rockers (easy to buy and replace) and the doglegs behind the front wheel and the surround inside the headlights. Both can be cut from the fenders which are included. Most of the chrome is excellent to fair but the rear bumper ends will need repairing and re-chroming. A few hash-marks are missing.
