Vehicle Detail
FURLOUGH SALE ! Top of the line 65 American 440H with 232 6 cylinder, auto trans, power steering, bucket seats, console shift. I am forced to sell because of the military furlough. This is a nice car and with a little work it could be a very nice car. I had sold the car last year on Ebay when I had a pending divorce. The winner failed to follow the payment instructions, so I kept the car. The car runs great, but the trans slips a little in reverse. I was going to put in a 4.0 with an overdrive auto. The brakes work but are hard. I was going to install disc brakes. The right floor pan is rusted and the left is starting. I have a new floorpan for the right side included. The frame is good and there is a small rust spot over the right wheel. I have a patch for it thats included. I haven't installed the floor patch because I was waiting to order new carpet. The carpet is OK, but I don't think it's original. The only thing that is not original is the fuel tank. The previous owner installed a Mustang tank. The gauge works and it fills OK. It needs shocks and the wipers are not hooked up. There is a tear in the drivers seat. I have only driven it locally so I don't know if it would make a long trip. I am selling AS IS with NO RESERVE!! The winner must contact me within 24 hours of auctions end. Deposit of $200. due within 48 hours of auction end through Paypal. If you don't do Paypal, don't tell me when the auctions over. Make arrangments prior. Balance due within 7 days of auction end. Car can stored up to 45 days as long as full payment is recieved. I will only contact the winner through Ebay. I had sold a car once and someone emailed the winner asking them to send the deposit to their address.
