1974 FORD F-250 XLT RANGER SUPERCAB w/NICE CAMPER!! Up for auction is my supercab ford pick up.The body is pretty straight with only a few minor areas that I have pointed out in pictures. 3 rust areas look worst than then really are because I took really close up pics of them for you to see all of which are on passenger side only. Previous owner had installed a aftermarket A/C system which is the reason you will see vents in dash. Unfortunatelty A/C unit failed and was removed by me. A few things truck could use in future:new headliner,right parking lamp(have replacement), new weather seals,rear view mirror,new mufflers and maybe a new power steering pump(Squeels abit) I think carb will need rebuild replaced soon because idle is abit rough. But I still drive it 1-2 times a week. Previous owner had two aftemarket tanks added on however I removed them both. Full of old stinky gas. Factory tank in the rear is hooked up and works great. I just got new 16.5 tires however shop told me that the rims wern't the straightest in the world. Can't find 16.5 rims anywhere local but you can still buy online or just switch over to 16's or something bigger which is what I should have done. Inside cab is nice and clean for the year. All three seats are in great condition. Exterior paint is original and came back to life after a polish but does show it's age. I have since removed all lower trim to look for any problem areas. Found a couple small areas on passenger side. Please see pics. The camper is very nice and is currently being held on by clamps but is very secure. I have taken in consideration the year of the truck things it will need and have started price very low. I'm sure new owner will be quite happy with this truck. A little time and patience this could be a really nice truck. If needed I can assist transport company with pick up. Really a great truck and priced extremely low for the right person. If local you should be able to drive truck home. If long distance truck should be trailered home until you can get carb fixed or replaced. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. Truck goes to highest bidder, no reserve auction. Someone is going to get a lot of truck for a little money. New items:carpet,tires,fuel pump, all new fuel lines and filters from tank to carb,park lamp(need install),valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, cap and rotor. I've been changing coolant once a month because previous senior citizen owner accidently poured oil into radiator. So monthly flushes should be done until it is all out or I guess you can replace if you want. But has been doing fine and doesn't overheat. Thanks for your interest and Happy Bidding!! Sometimes before starting you have to tap down on gear shift I never bothered to adjust because I liked the fact that nobody could just jump in and start the truck without knowing this. Thanks again!!
