Vehicle Detail

I am re-listing this truck due to not having it listed correctly. It would not allow me to upload more pictures. This is a 1959 Ford F100. It runs and drives great. Bought truck to go to Rat Rod shows with. Made a few changes to the truck since I've had it and now I don't have time for it. Hate to see it go but figure it needs a good home to someone that will use it more. The motor is a 305 out of a '94 mustang. Tranny is a 3-speed auto. Has a brand new alternator and optima battery. Alternator that was on the truck when I purchased it was to small and also was not grounded allowing it to charge. Has a brand new Edelbrock carb, the original one was cracked allowing carb to suck too much air. There is a brand new fuel tank behind the seat that was recently installed. Truck has air bags both front and rear. Has left and right controls in front. Rear is linked together. The rear was separate but I changed it shortly after to make it easier to set ride height. I have all valves to put it back if wanted. The rear sits on the ground. The front does not lay all the way down. This was my next mod to the truck but could not find time. The front clip is off a older model Camaro and could be made to lay all the way but would require pulling the motor. Last project on the truck was covering the rear suspension/air bags. I built a frame and used old fence board to get the best look. The tailgate is of off a 1946 ford. It was welded shut by the previous owner and I was able to get it working properly. The "Patina" on this truck is hard to find. It is one of a kind. It turns heads everywhere I go. Local pick up preferred. If you want it shipped buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and handling of shipping. I do not have time to mess with shipping quotes. Will require a $1000.00 deposit through pay pal at auction end. The balance must be cash in hand upon pick up or certified funds must clear before truck is picked up or shipped. I have clear LA title in hand. I reserve the right to end auction early at anytime due to local listing. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks and good luck. On Jul-10-13 at 15:06:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had some people ask some questions about the truck. This is considered a Rat Rod. You cannot duplicate this patina in a paint booth and for a 54 year old truck its in decent shape. Its got some rust in the usual area's and a few dings but that's what makes this truck what it is. The doors all shut and fit nice and windows go up and down with ease. The windshield in new and has one small rock chip in it. Drivers door and pass vent window are cracked. This can be a daily driver. I drive it every other day. Have driven it to and from a few car shows. Tires are in good shape. There are a few changes I wanted to make to the truck but only changes that I wanted to make. The truck does not need anything but a good driver once purchased. ThanksOn Jul-11-13 at 20:54:34 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added a picture of the truck sitting on the ground. A few have asked about it. The truck lays all the way down in the rear. The front does not. I wish I had the time to make the front lay down. That is the only thing I had left to do to the truck. It was next on my list but I could not seem to find the time and this is the reason I am selling it. No time to tinker with it. There gauges on the dash in the factory locations to show the p.s.i. for the air bags. The switches are where the radio would be on most trucks. 2 gauges and 4 switches. There is a gauge for the front and the rear. Each gauge has two needles showing p.s.i. One showing the p.s.i for the left side and one showing the p.s.i. for the right. This is how you set the ride height. When you turn the key on the compressor kicks on and fills the tank Once the tank is full the compressor will kick off. The make ride height is at 120 p.s.i., at this height there is absolutely no rubbing or scrapping. I usually ride the truck at 80-90 p.s.i. in the front and 40 p.s.i. in the rear. Rides good at this height. There are no shocks on the truck, only the air bags. If you turn the truck sharp at this ride height it will scrape in the front on the fender. Simply air the front up to make sharp turns. Hope this helps with some of the questions. Let me know if anyone has any other questions.
