Up for auction is this 1966 "A" Code Mustang. This is a California Rust Free Car. This little beauty comes with all the Original documentation from the date that she was built to the time she was sold. It has been in California it's entire life. The Stockton area. When the original owner purchased this car in 1966, after adding the "options", it sold for a grand total of $3,227.14. The Original Window Sticker is among the documentation, and will go to the winning bidder. (There is too much documentation to list, so I will take a picture) The documentation is rare and priceless. If you are searching for a Mustang with all the history, this might be the one! This Mustang comes equipped with the original 289 V-8 Engine, with 97,442 Original miles, Cruise-o-matic Transmission, Power Steering, Working Air Conditioning (Blows Cold, Just Charged) and Tinted Windshield. The Original owner ordered the mustang with a "Front Bench Seat", which was recently re-upholstered. The rear seat is original and in good condition, and seat belts in front and rear. The carpet is original, however, on the driver's side there are a couple small holes. Looks like the previous owner wore high heels. These do not show because of the carpet mats over them, which are in excellent condition. A new Headliner previously installed, chrome bumpers, bumper guards, grill, and rocker trim. As stated above, the Mustang has only 97,442 Original miles (Receipts to prove this) engine has not been rebuilt. The engine runs really strong. The Transmission was re-built a few years ago (receipts showing) and shifts really smooth. The Original paint is still on the Mustang. The color is called "Tahoe Turquoise". After all these years, it still has a shine, however, there is fading on the front fenders and the hood. There are very few little dings, and No dents. The Mustang is very solid and straight. I am the 3rd owner of the Mustang. The Original owner owned this car for 41 years. Sold it to 2nd owner who owned it for 6 years, whom I purchased it from. During the restoration of this Mustang, I have had the Front Bench Seat re-upholstered, put in New Dash Pad, New Inside & Outside Door Handles, new Window Cranks, (windows have been serviced) Roll up & down nicely. New Door Panels, New Remote mirror, New Battery, New Trunk Mat over original trunk mat, and a New "3 Row" Aluminum Radiator, to keep engine running cool. The original AM Radio was previously replaced with a newer radio, but the dash was not cut. "Everything" on this mustang is in working order. This Mustang is ready to go and currently registered through next year here in California. When the Original owner sold the Mustang, she had Personalized Plates on the car and kept them.
