Basically what's left is for you to pick a hood (since there is about 8 different styles), Pick your paint color, Finish the interior, Restore the manual top frame and recover, add and exhaust then drive. As of now the car is turn key and can be lot driven. Engine starts with one pump every time and shifts smoothly and easily with the new Hurst kit. I have a clear Illinois title in my name. We have replaced every exterior panel on this car minus the lower rockers. All interior panels have been replaced minus the inner subframe of the rear quarters and upper window frame in the front. One good day blocking and youll be ready for paint. All new panels coated with EDP. Manual top goes up and down and lands on the hooks perfectly. Convertible top latches but need to be rechromed. Convertible headliner bow should be replaced. I have most of the chrome for the car and the front window frame chrome will need to be redone. Will need a front/rear bumper kit with brackets. I have all the glass for the convertible. I have the rears installed and operational. The fronts need to be installed in the new shells along with the supplied hardware and new actuators for a deluxe interior installed. Car is available for showings by appointment by calling my cell Brian 847-322-1244 I encourage you to come see the car and ask as many questions as you want. There is no dumb questions. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I know what I have in the car and if you've been researching these to build yourself so do you. Big block conversions are not cheap let alone building an entire RS clone. Lots of things to change. If you have low feedback please shoot me an email before you bid stating your intentions or I will cancel your bid. I am only listing the car one time and would hate to see someone who really wants the car to lose out because of a schill bidder. Thanks for looking On Jul-08-13 at 08:19:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Added a quick video on youtube of the engine running. You'll see it has good oil pressure on the gauge after startup. http://youtu.be/iLIljAbIDrI Also I forgot to add I had added a mini high torque starter in place of the original. Ebay will not let me add more than 24 pix but I have plenty of anything you want to see. Let me know what you need a pic of and I can get it for you. On Jul-09-13 at 13:48:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had a few questions regarding the type of Camaro the car was originally. The title states it as a 1968 Camaro Convertible. It was originally a 6cyl automatic. I have been building it as an RS. So long story short not a numbers matching car as stated in the description having a 72 402 big block. I was also asked about what metal is not new on the car - Exterior rockers- Inner subframe of rear quarters. ( This is a piece of metal that extends behind the rear seat out under the rear quarter ). Keep in mind I used all new full rear convertible quarters, inner and outer fenderwells, inner rockers, one piece trunk floor, trunk drop offs, upper and lower rear valance just on the rear of the car. Check my list above for the full list of replaced new sheetmetal. Also the trunk has been spatter painted gray.
