The car had been in need of some head work in 2007 and was purchased by an Alfa mechanic who stored it until recently when a mechanical and cosmetic restoration began by the current owner. Since the seats, carpet and paint were in need of freshening, the current owner decided to do something more esthetically pleasing and finished the car in the triple black finish that you see now. This Alfa Spider is a head turner and while it doesn’t have the traditional Quad look it has a look of its own that is appealing to many with its black leather and red stitching theme throughout. All the new materials used are of the highest quality including a new top. Mechanically everything has been, serviced, updated or replaced as needed. While the air-conditioning unit is no longer with the car everything else works as it should including the clock! This Spider is a pleasure to drive with all the smooth power of the 2ltr running perfectly, new brakes, new suspension bushings and parts and an interior that is second to none. Prior to paint the body was examined and there was no sign of any current OR previous rust. There was a minor crease in the nose area which has been repaired. The paint has been color sanded to give it a deep luster and shows beautifully. Things to know for full disclosure about this beautiful car: Electric Mirrors are being repaired, there is one dime shape paint repair on the passengers door near the window, there is one dash crack that is repaired, the antenna is not electric.
