Up for Auction is a 1989 Ford Mustang LX hatchback with a 359 windsor engine. I have owned the car for a little over (7) years now and purchased the car from California in September of 2005. This is a street friendly car. No rust, never been driven in the snow or on salt roads and only saw some rain if I was out driving and it would start to rain. It was originally an automatic and has since been converted to a 5 speed. Car has always been stored in a climate controlled garage year round. Has no AC installed, heat works fine. I only drive it in the summer and have been averaging 300-500 miles a year. The car has original 1989 paint and has some minor small door dents and paint chips. Car has no emissions. The 3-gauge A-pillar pod in photos is not included with car and has been removed. The car has good supporting parts on it and the chassis and body has about 127,000 miles on it. The engine bottom end has 3000 miles on it. The top end of the motor has been freshened up, new gaskets installed, etc. this winter along with TFS trickflow heads and 1.7 roller rockers which were installed. Older style castings. *351 TFS-R upper and lower intake with 90mm upper throttle body opening. *75mm Accufab Throttle body. *C&L 76mm Mass Air Meter calibrated to 38# injectors. *Autolite 3924 plugs gapped at .045” *351W ford motorsport oil pan and pickup kit, Meloden standard pressure pump with heavy duty shaft. *9.0:1 compression. *Ford Motorsport red plug wires with 8” long boot sleeves on each end to protect headers. *Morroso catch can breather with -12 AN line to each stock valve cover. *Stock starter, upgraded power line from starter solenoid. *March pulley bracket kit for alternator and power steering *Romac 28 oz. Sfi balancer. *Energy poly urethane engine mounts. *Stock flow water pump. *Stock alternator. *Mark VIII electric fan with manual on/off switch inside car. *Be-cool 2-row aluminum radiator. Car Runs at 180-190. *New Hypertech 180 degree thermostat. *New AGR Power Steering Pump, new hose from pump to rack. *Remanufactured rack and pinion (Installed 2010). *Flaming River Shaft and knuckle. (Eliminates the stock type rag joint) EXHAUST *BBK 351 Shorty Swap Headers (Brand New 5/13). *BBK 2-1/2” Off Road H-Pipe (Brand New 5/13). *2-1/2” Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back Exhaust with Stainless Steel Tips (Brand New 5/13). IGNITION SYSTEM *MDS 6AL mounted on frame under drivers fender. *New Rich Porter Distributor with Steel gear and MSD TFI module. *MSD blaster coil with MSD Harness. FUEL SYSTEM *255lph Walbro High Pressure in-tank fuel pump. *Stock fuel lines and rails. *Delphi 38# injectors. INTERIOR *2 gauge center vent mounted Autometer White Phantom mechanical oil pressure and temperature gauge (Still retains each small side vents for use). *Replaced the floor carpet with new Dark Charcoal in 2005. *Stock tweed front and back seats in good condition. *6 point roll bar welded in and painted flat black. *Changed speedometer out to a 140mph stock unit (was 85 mph), so mileage is not representative of actual vehicle mileage. *3-Guage A-Pillar Pod and gauges not included. Stock A-Pillar will be installed. EXTERIOR *Aftermarket front clear corner lights. *3” Cobra R fiberglass hood (painted, but could use a re-spray to better match rest of the body paint). *Front 17x8” Bullit replica wheels, black with polished lip entire wheels clear coated with 235/45x17 Nitto NT555 tires, less than 1200 miles on them. *Back 17x9” Bullit Replica wheels, black with polished lip, entire wheels clear coated with 275/40x17 Nitto 555R Drag Radials, 1200 miles on them. *The paint is original and still shines good. The car has no bondo anywhere. To the best of my knowledge there has been no body work to the car, carfax has no reporting’s either. *There are a few chips and scratches on the paint and a couple of small dings in the body here and there which were on the car when I got it. See Pics for some. *I have the stock hood and goes with the car. *Windshield wipers do not work, might need a motor, but I never used them the whole time owning the car. DRIVETRAIN *Tremec 3550 prepped by Promotion to TKO600 specs, 26 spline input shaft and 10 spline output for stock driveshaft. *Promotion 26 spline blue printed Hi Clamp, rated for 670 horsepower. Had no issues with it holding. *Stock driveshaft, clutch cable and fork. *28oz balance Ford Motorsport flywheel. *Ford Motorsport aluminum bellhousing. *All above put in in 2009 (Low 2000 miles if that). SUSPENSION *PA Racing tubular K-Member without spring purches. *QA1 caster/camber plates. *Strange Front coil over setup with Strange 7-way adjustable shocks and 200 lb weight springs. *Strange Rear 10-way adjustable shocks, stock mustang rear springs. *Pro3i tubular lower control arms. *Baseline Suspension Rear Pro Launch #2 kit with solid upper spherical bushings in rear end. *Baseline Suspension Ant-Roll Bar (Not installed, but goes with car) *UPR Upper and lower toque box reinforcement’s kits bolted and welded in *Whole rear section of torque boxes are welded together and to the floor REAREND *Ford 8.8 Cobra differential with Carbon fiber clutch kit and 3:55 gears. *Superior Axles 31 spline C-Clip axles with standard length studs. *TA Performance 8.8 Rear End Girdle Cover. BRAKES *2004 Mach 1 twin PBR Front brakes (Same as Cobra, just don’t say Cobra on them) with 13” rotors. *2004 Cobra Rear brakes with 11.65” rotors. *94-95 Front spindles. *Maximum Motorsports manual rear brake proportioning valve located near passenger side fender under hood. *1995 Cobra brake booster and master cylinder. *Car stops really good and not much brake fade when heated up. This has been a great car, I just don’t have the time or passion I used to have. I have had this car for 8 years and have had fun with the car, but it is time to move on.
