*******Original 1966 Buick Riviera GS******** For Sale for the first time in 46 years! This is a one owner (well 2nd, because it was 6 months old when purchased) 1966 Buick Riviera GS that is all original except for one lacquer paint refinish in 1980 and some tires (original spare in the trunk). The 425 cubic inch Nailhead engine, which is the last year of this engine, has never been taken apart and includes the Grand Sport options of finned aluminum valve covers with the BUICK letter on the side, and the chrome air cleaner which says BUICK 465, which is the amount of torque that the Nailhead puts out. This car has the single quadra-jet carburetor. The black vinyl interior is in near perfect condition with buckets seats, wood grained center console with shifter. Other options include power windows, power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, tilt-wheel, am-fm stereo, and a unique 140 mph rolling speedometer to finish off the dash area. Even has the original floor mats! This is definitely a gentleman’s muscle car as it was designed to be. This Riviera was meticulously maintained its entire life and was driven as the family car until 1977 before it was put away for a nice weekend country drives. After fresh paint in 1980, the Riviera was stored in a climate controlled environment with an occasional trip to a car show. This is a 47 year old car which has been seldom driven for the past 25, but was started twice a month. There are no warranties with the purchase of this car, you buy it as is.
