Vehicle Detail
67 Ford Galaxie 500 Hey everybody looking at this posting. I have a 390 ci bored out 30 to a 395 1967 Ford Galaxie 500. It has 1,000 miles on the engine, rebuilt by Southeastern MN Auto in Rochester, I have the receipt for that and the crank shaft. The engine has been completely rebuilt and the car will now burn rubber, if you want it to?, not that I have tried, HA! New everything, crank shaft, cam, bearings, pistons, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Carter AFB competition series 750 4-barrel carb, new shocks (air shocks in the rear), new gas tank (includes pump and lines), brand new radiator custom built out of California (with new lines), Optima battery with 1K CCA’s, new starter (I will even throw in a spare starter with few miles on it), new alternator, new gauges inside the car, radio (CD), and I am sure the list goes on and on. On and on includes a new distributor (not MDX) and a Mercury grill, which is stronger and better looking than a Galaxie grill (sturdier and matches perfectly as you will see in in pics). The only items not new, but functioning well, includes the power steering and master cylinder, otherwise all else is new under the hood. Painted by Progressive Auto Body in Rochester, but it will need some touch-ups as needed based on my son’s ability to open and close the doors, but it is not major by any means, very minor dings that I can send pics of. This car does not have A/C. Clear and free title, not salvage. The car is not show-room worthy, but it is fun driving worthy. I chose yellow because I wanted something different other than the baby blue it was originally painted and rusted through, which has now been fixed. It needs a washing since it has been just sitting in my garage, as well as an interior cleaning. It is ran twice (2) a month to ensure the parts/mechanics are operational. Frankly, I just need room in my garage for my camper. What does it need, the window felts installed (I have a box of new ones), the hood aligned (I got it close, but I am no autobody guy (it just needs a little lowering which a person of any knowledge could do in 10-20 mins.), and the bottom chrome piece on the rear window installed (which I also have). This is a car I have driven to work 90 miles round-trip, I just wish it had cruise control. RESERVE IS LOWER THAN THE "BUY IT NOW". I expect $500 down payment within 3 days, full payment upon receipt of the car, which must be picked up within 20 days, at your expense. If not picked up or paid for within 20 calendar days, I will relist the vehicle and you lose the down payment of $500. Pickup only, no delivery. OR, you can drive it away if you would like, I would, it is fun to drive!! E-mail me or call me at 507-eight eight 4 – 675 three. Thanks for looking, Chris. Interior is in great shape minus a 1/2 dollar sized hole on the back of the driver's side seat and one hidden by the visor. Need to sell, so I also dropped the reserve.
