Up for sale is an original 1972 Chevrolet Vega GT -- original paint, interior, engine. Engine rebuilt a few years ago, thermostat housing broken at the alternator bracket bolt. Car being sold as-is. Car likes attention, all my free time is dedicated to the growing family nowadays. Buyer to pay and arrange for all transportation costs. Any questions, please ask before bidding. Low reserve, will entertain all reasonable offers.On Jul-04-13 at 07:54:15 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATED 7/4/13:For the last few months, the Vega has been stored at a friend's house on a car trailer. We've had more rain this year and the rust is more notable particularly around the windshield and some new spots around the rear window, I've taken additional pictures of what I saw yesterday and will try to post those as well. There is NO RUST on the undercarriage or the doors, panels. The undercarriage is difficult to access for pictures - I've taken pictures of what is accessible. The fiberglass on the rear passenger side below the bumper is broken and has been this way since I bought it in 2002. There is a crack in bondo at rear quarter panel near light. Other than those two spots, the body is clean. The car engine has not been started in a while due to my absence and lack of free time. I believe it will need some work to get it started. Also, the smog pump has been removed. If you are local, you are welcome to come take a look at the car for yourself. It is already on a car trailer so it will be easier to transport. Engine runs and restarts with no problem.
