1964 VW Beatle here for Sale.Nothing real special, but it seems better than average, the floors have been replaced at some point with new pans. Rust seems very minimal, but average for a bug.Runs good, stops good and steers good. Interior is original and very nice, needs very little, paint looks fair, but maybe beter than average. Starts easy, no smoke or abnormal engine noise, runs strong and shifts great as a 1964 Beatle can :) Milage is a true 70,256It needs tires bad, these tires are UNSAFE.I would certainly have a service and such performed before heading out on the road, cars that sit need things.This was sitting in a building since the late 1970's around 77-79 has been there since and bought in 2003 by a friend of mine who then sat it in his building, he has since passed. We purchased this and a VW Van in a bulk purchase of motorcycles. We are in the motorcycle business not the VW business so this is un charted water for us and we do not have knowledge of these cars so please ask qustions.I have drove this car a bit back in forth to work, the tread is comming off the tires, so I am no longer driving it. If you wish we will certainly put tires on for you at your expense, you pick the brand and we will take it to our tire center here in town and have them installed if you wish. You are welcome to store the car here at our facility up to 4 weeks as needed with in reason, if longer than 4 weeks we will need to discuss this, we will not be liable for anything including damages, theft or acts of God ( we are in Kansas and Tornados and hail is common) out of our control while the car is here, you are responsible to carry insurance if this is a concern.
