I have a 1984 bmw r65 I am selling. It is black with original paint and pinstripes. Paint is excellent other than the tank at the top of the lh side, the paint had a chip in it about the size of less than a dime. No dents or dings, tank looks like new inside. Seat is original and is in good condition other than it looks like maybe a cat pricked the top of the cover with its claws. No holes and isn't really that noticeable, but wanted to mention it. Has new battery and tires are in great condition with lots of tread left. The mufflers are excellent with no rust or dents. The header pipes have bluing as usual. The windshield is just a cheap one I had that actually mounted nice on it. Bike fires right up, runs great, no funny noises, clutch and trans work well, brakes work well as should. I do have the hard bags, they are in need of a paint job and new locks. Very nice bike, I've logged over 200 flawless miles on it and is a blast to ride, just need room. The bike has 15,000 original miles, so should have lots of life left in it. If you are in to café racers this would be a perfect candidate. I have never owned a bmw, but a couple of guys I buy and sell bikes to looked at it and were amazed at the condition.
