The 2000 Ford F150 included several improvements over previous models. Most noticeable were the more comfortable flip-up 40/60 rear seat and an improved 18-degree rear seating angle in the SuperCab. Many of the functions previously handled by the under-8500 GVW F250 went to the new F150 with a 7700 payload group with all the attributes of the larger F250 including a heavier frame, larger brakes, higher capacity wheels and an 8,800 pounds towing capability. The bottom line is more truck for the money.

Vehicle Condition Report
General
The first thing you notice when you drive this truck is there is absolutely no hesitation starting, even after sitting a couple of weeks. There is no smoke, blue or gray and no visible signs of major oil or coolant leaks. The truck has plenty of power and drives nicely. The suspension feels tight with no shakes or shimies or unusual noises and rattles. The truck accelerates nicely and has plenty of power and stops quickly and effectively without brake pulsation. The vehicle appears to have been well maintained and serviced. The Island Blue Clearcoat finish is in generally good condition for its age. However, there is some bubbling in the paint as depicted in the pictures and the RR bottom of the bed has rust through.
Engine
The 5.4L Triton V8 offers plenty of power and towing capacity. There is no valve or lower engine noise and no visible signs or sounds of major leaks, problems or issues. The belts appear to be in good condition. The engine is a solid 8 out of 10.
Transmission
The automatic transmission shifts flawlessly and the tow settings work as designed with no apologies. The transmission is a solid 8 out of 10
Wheels, Tires, Brakes, Steering and Suspension
The tires have at least 60% tread life remaining and have no apparent signs of problems or leaks. The wheels are chromed alloys with no major gouges.
Steering and Suspension - This truck handles perfectly! The front end is very tight and the handling is higly responsive with no unusual noises. The steering and suspension work together very nicely and make this brute easy to drive.

Body
The body and paint are in above average condition, particularly for the age and mileage. There are noticeable flaws, dings, scratches and fades as pictured and a rust hole on the bottom right rear of the lower truck bed behind the tire. The front of the hood and below the driver's side door are starting to bubble under the paint but with some patience and time the average guy could repair these in a few hours.

Interior
The interior of the vehicle is in above average overall condition. The after-market CD Radio works well and comes with a remote control. There are no major rips or tears on the seats.

Obviously, a vehicle that is 10 years old will show more wear and have more flaws than one that is 2 years old.
Most of our vehicles are sold at auction using a NO RESERVE format with below market prices, many way below book values.
Remember some of these cars are near a decade old and they may be new to you, but that doesn't change the fact that they are used cars and repairs can be needed at any time regardless of how short a time period you have owned the car. While we try to service any known defects it is still possible for used vehicles to need service or repairs the first days or weeks of ownership. NOT likely, but possible! We will not be responsible for these minor accessories. These items are all replaceable at any local factory dealer or on eBay for a few dollars.
