1983 Jeep CJ7 4x4 hard top with AC. Inline 6 cyl 4.2 with 170k miles, the jeep runs and drives great, it does have the FACTORY automatic transmission. This is a survivor body with very little paintwork, had to have been garaged it's entire life to be in the condition it's in. When the Jeep came into our store we decided to re paint the top because it was a little faded, we didn't paint any other part of this CJ. Factory air conditioning and power steering,  power brakes stops really well. Our CJ had a tow bar and had for many years, some of the miles most likely are from simply being a motorhome dinghy. The previous owner purchased this Jeep from the first owner  in 1986 and has had it ever since. It was purchased here in SoCal from Jeep store in 1983. It runs and drives like it's been in a time capsule. If you drive it, you'd understand. California is a rust free state, no salt used on our roads.. The interior is like new the jeep rips , clean carpet , the hard top is still with original fabric inside , Chrome is shiny .   The pictures are very accurate and tell the majority of the story. This is a stand up CJ7 and it's in fantastic condition. The drivetrain is unmolested, as are the body and suspension. Because it is the original paint, there are some scratches . In order to showcase the condition, we chose not to cover any body panels with diamond plate and we definitely didn't paint or patch any metal on this Jeep. \he drivetrain has been kept up meticulously. The CJ is equipped with the factory am fm stereo but doesn't seem to be powering up. Again, we didn't want to alter OEM parts so we left it the way we found it.   Here is what has been done that we have receipts for-   the carb completely rebuilt. We were also informed at the time of trade in that the motor had been completely rebuilt 8000 miles ago but unfortunately we don't have any documentation to back it up. It certainly runs like it has a fresh rebuild but without paperwork, it's just hear say.
