Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a very nice 1994 Corvette Coupe. This is very clean car for the year and is a great value for the first time Vette buyer. I’m a long time Vette owner and enthusiast so I’m pretty familiar with these car’s good and bad points. I'm open to reasonable offers. You won't be disappointed in this purchase. Let me give you a more detailed description. This is a great color combo of white and red. EXTERIOR: The overall paint of this car is very nice. No peeling of the clear coat. There are no cracks or major flaws on the body. The drivers door has been repainted and is slightly off shade from the rest of the car. All the glass is clear and the windshield has no cracks, chips or wiper marks. Have two removable tops for the car. One is painted solid color and the other is black. The black top was a tinted blue at one time but has been painted black by some one. It looks good but does have a crack on the drivers side. There are red decals on the hood which add a nice touch. These can be easily removed if needed. All exterior lights work perfect. The headlights rotate up and down perfectly. The drivers side was recently rebuilt. Even the power antenna goes up and down fine. Usually these aren’t working at all. The wheels and tires are brand new and the black wheels look great against the white body. INTERIOR: The red leather interior looks very good. None of the usual wear is present. The dash pad, carpet, seats, interior trim and door panels are in very good condition. No cracks or evident wear. All power options work including the power windows, seat, a/c, heater, door locks, gages, cruise control, horn, wipers and all interior lights. The tilt column is tight with no play like some have. The radio is an after market JVC cd player which replaces the troublesome factory radio. The center console door shows some wear like most do but opens and closes fine. MECHANICAL: I’ve driven this Vette about 1000 miles and it drives tight. No rattles or unusual noises. Steers and stops straight. The engine starts right up and the transmission shifts smoothly thru all gears. There is a brand new battery and starter. Plus I just installed muffler eliminator pipes which give a deep mellow sound under throttle. Sound great. There are no warning lights and all gages operate in their normal ranges. There are no mechanical issues I know of that need attention at this time. I would not hesitate to drive car cross country. REBUILT TITLE: This car comes with a rebuilt South Carolina title. I bought this car knowing it had been in a minor accident to the top of the hood. The car came out of North Carolina and it came with a North Carolina State inspection which it passed without problem. I was told someone backed into the car and damaged the top of the hood on the drivers side. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO STRUCTUAL DAMAGE DONE TO THE FRAME OF THE CAR. There is evidence of repair on the hood and drivers door but it does not affect the operation of the hood or door in any way. When I received the car all repairs had been made and the car performed flawlessly for me. I had no trouble insuring or titling this car in South Carolina. It’s up to buyer to make sure that their state will title a car with a rebuilt title. I have no problem with a third party looking at this car. OVERALL: This is a great entry level Vette for the individual who wants to get in and drive and not spend their time in the repair shop. I pride myself on trying to be honest with my descriptions so there are no surprises. Check my feedback. I also believe though the buyer has a responsibility to ask questions before buying. What may be important to you may mean nothing to me. However please remember this is a 19 year old car and parts can fail at anytime with out notice. So there is no warranty or guarantee of the condition or performance of this vehicle. It’s sold “as is” and all future repairs, costs for shipping, taxes, titles or inspections are the responsibility of the buyer. However because of the rebuild title issue I will allow the buyer to back out of the deal at time of pick up if my description of condition is not accurate. Once the car leaves my premises this condition is waived. My goal is to make this a good experience for both parties. When your spending your money you should be happy with your purchase. TERMS OF PAYMENT: A $300 deposit which is non-refundable can be made thru Paypal. Balance in cash, bank wire transfer or cashiers check drawn on an American bank. Shipping and travel costs are at the buyers expense. If you need to be picked up from the airport, train or bus stop I’d be glad to do it.
