1952 UNITED STATES MARINE CORP JEEP This barn find was originally a US Marine Corps military jeep. Photos of the brass dash plate contains the information. The vehicle comes with two fenders, four-cylinder engine, transmission, single seat, hood, and items shown in photos. Motor includes a 24 volt generator. Vehicle was stored inside old barn for many years and most of the sheet metal is solid. The areas directly under the driver and the passenger side has the majority of the rust as shown in the photos. The vehicle is missing the steering gear box. I was told the engine was running but was removed with intention of inserting a V8, never completed. Motor in bed still has oil in crank case. I know nothing else about the engine, except for the information shown in photos. The military olive drab paint is still apparent on many of the vehicle’s surfaces, such as under fenders and axles.
