Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a good condition 1969 Bridgestone DT 175 motorcycle in very restoreable condition. I rate the bike a strong 7.5 out of 10. I wouldn't even sell this bike if I didn't have so many other projects!! NO SHIPPING! Needs some TLC and a few parts to make real nice. Bike has a dent in rear fender, headlight ring is smashed, rubber intake components in marginal condition (probably need new rubber parts), seat has a few tears, and has some surface rust and paint flaking here and there. Also needs mufflers. Please look at pictures and ask questions. Don't assume anything. I will throw in a brand new headlight ring and a used rear fender in good condition to the winning bidder. The paint is decent for the most part, most of the chrome is good condition, maybe a little surface rust here and there, 6248 original miles with original tires to the best of my knowledge. All lights and turn signals work, brakes, clutch and transmission work. It has the 4 speed with the extra highway range gear. Bike ran perfect last fall, but now when I start it only runs for a short time and dies unless you keep the choke on. I'm quite sure the carbs need cleaning. I would fix this problem, but I don't have the spare time. Original owner cut the mufflers off and then welded them back on. I have no idea why he would do that. This shows in the pictures. Chrome and spokes on wheels are good condition. Like I said this would be an easy restoration. Parts are available for these, new and used. Own a piece of history with this one. This bike is not mint by any means, but very good condition for its age. Great for the collector. The last few of these that sold on Ebay went for more than $1000 and all had parts missing, didn't run, and were in worse condition. I have a clear Minnesota title also. I know for a fact this bike is worth what I'm asking. To the best of my knowledge I'm the 3rd owner. Please ask any questions and I'll try my best to answer them. This auction requires a PayPal deposit of $250 with the balance to be paid in person. CASH ONLY. You can also call me at 320-360-0564. Please leave a message if I don't answer. NO SHIPPING!! Buyer must make all shipping arrangements and pay for any fees included. I will not be responsible for any shipping charges! Thanks for looking at my auction! I have this for sale locally also, so I reserve the right to end auction at any time. Thank you!
