Here is a Super Rare, one owner and all original, 1981 VW Rabbit, Caddy Diesel Pickup truck with, 97k original miles!! This Rabbit is equipped with the 4 cylinder, 1.6L motor, a 5 speed manual transmission and front wheel drive!! This is a Very Rare find, All Original and Only One Owner Since New!! The body and paint are very clean, Oregon truck since day one, bought brand new at Surroz VW in Klamath Falls, OR. There are some very minor and superficial scratches, blemishes in the paint/clear coat, expected for the age of the vehicle, please see pictures. The clear coat on the roof is starting to flake off and some of the paint is missing on the underside of the truck from where the rocks have chipped it off, please see pictures. The inside of the bed is super straight and clean aside for some minor scratches from normal use, no major dents and no holes, please see pictures! The paint and body is all original, never painted and never wrecked!! The interior is in great condition! The truck does not have AC. The original am/fm, tape stereo and speakers still work good. There are no cracks in the dashboard. The original headliner is sagging in places and the drivers side vent is cracked, please see pictures. This Rabbit has a nice Glasstite figerglass canopy which was installed shortly after the truck was purchased and it's in great shape! The windshield is in good shape, no chips and no cracks! The wing windows have been siliconed shut, common problem and the shift boot is ripped, please see pictures. The truck will also come with the original owners manual, as well as the original Rabbit floor mats and all original keys and dealer key code tag! The motor is all stock, starts instantly and purrs. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts very smooth!! This Caddy has been well maintained and always serviced on time. The motor was just serviced, a fresh engine oil&filter service, a fresh fuel filter, air filter installed!! Also, recently the truck had a new radiator, water pump&timing belt installed! All 4 tires are matching and in good shape, Ameri SE General, m+s P165/80R13, all mounted on factory wheels. This diesel Rabbit has only been run or regular diesel, never used biodiesel or veggie oil! This Diesel Rabbit PU runs and drives great with only 97K original miles!! Please keep in mind that this is an older vehicle and is not in new condition!! Please expect normal wear and tear for a vehicle of this age and miles, this is not a brand new vehicle and it is not perfect!!
